Yaaaaaaay! Original Spyro art!How much time did you guys spend in the original games, just chasing those thieves around. Especially that one on the supercharge track in Molten Crater?
And if you made a mistake and forgot to let go of the charge button, you'd go supercharging off the edge of the level.
Still, lots of fun. And nothing, I repeat nothing, was more satisfying than putting an abrupt end to those "Naa naa nah naa naa's". >8D

Haha the good old days, which aren't so very old since I replay the games all the time. These are definitely my favorite characters from the old games. I really like how you've colored Spyro, how did you make that texture?

The kind of pen I use isn't exactly ballpoint. It's Precise V5 fine point pen. Not great for shading, but excellent for outlining. The ink dries really fast to prevent smudging.
Anyways, after it gets low on ink, the stroke is much thinner and fainter. So then I retire those pens to detail work, a.k.a. making circular scribbles to make Spyro's scales.

Oh that's a neat idea. I have some pretty thin pens, but when they get low I usually just throw them away. I'll keep that in mind

Lol! I spent hours trying to get the thief in Molten Crater, but when I played it again years later, It took me about 3 seconds! XD Oh, the memories

Awesomeness! It's great how you got the 'spiky' nature of the flame as it is in the games, and Sparx looks just as determined as Spyro.
