Bio:
Originally an AI developed by Paxton, he stole the body of a robot wolf the man was working on that contained an experimental quirk emulator, a device that can allow robots to emulate quirks.
After stealing the body, Durandal made a bloody and brutal escape from Paxton’s flagship, the Evangelion carrier. Sadly he picked his moment to escape at the exact same time the US navy found the ship and started bombarding the hell out of it. During the bombardment Durandal was trapped inside the ship, entering emergency shutdown to preserve himself as the ship sank.
Several years later his metal shell would end up getting washed ashore at Takoba Municipal Beach Park, where he would be later there for several more years before it was found by and biometrically locked to Izumi Midoriya, the ninth inheritor of One for All.
Whilst he was annoyed at first at being biometrically locked to Izumi, who would soon later grow attached to the girl, especially after he found out what she had gone through. Promising to protect her on her journey to become the next number one hero.

System: Quirk Emulator
An experimental system and is currently eleven years old. It is outdated and as such, very power hungry. Most quirks Durandal can use can only be used for a few seconds, seven being the max after Mei upgraded his reactor. The Emulator cannot be upgraded due to several factors, such as containing the rare element Carusaurum, an element that is not naturally found on earth, lack of blueprints of the Quirk Emulator, and the fact the emulator is located inside his positronic brain. Its usage is indicated by his spine glowing green. The emulator can only use Emitter quirks, and even then only a limited number. Transformation and mutation quirks can’t be emulated by the system.

Additional Ability:
Durandal can also form a suit of armor around Izumi, acting as a suit of power armor for her, as well as allowing her to use a bit more of One for All without breaking herself. This mode, however, takes ten seconds to engage, meaning that they can’t enter it whilst in combat. The Quirk Emulator can also not be used whilst in this mode.

He also has access to the MIWR (Multi Integrated Weapon Replicator), a system that allows him to create weapons for use whilst in armored wolf mode. Current weapons the systems can transform into are a combat whip, rocket launcher, chainsaw and a modified Plasma cutter. These weapons can be used in either wolf or armored wolf mode.

Trivia:
- He's large enough to fit around Izumi, so in armoured wolf mode he's slightly taller then her. and he was made 10 years before cannon.

- He's based on a combination of Blade Wolf from Metal Gear Rising, Treble from Mega Man, and the ARS suit from Vanquish.

- Carusaurum, the material used to make the quirk emulator, are from the Anomaly franchise.
