Description
Nature Entwined
This is the way to go
The sky seems to be so low
While the blue turns to red
A crimson red, with tears to be fed
While I stand under the wicked heaven
With nature surrounding my body and soul
Rain pours down, down upon us all
Everybody’s at home, I’m all alone
Now my body slowly vined
Flesh, leaves and bones combined
I’m one with earth, water, fire, sky
On the frozen winter ground I lie
While the snow falls down from the crimson skies
The tears I shed hurt and burn
I try to hide and turn
But I can’t, for I’m about to die
Red snow covers my body
While the angels in heaven bleed
My vined body becomes muddy
And I know my mind is almost freed
My body slowly vined
Flesh, leaves and bones combined
With nature I was entwined
Past me flows a white winter leave
But it’s gone before I could even breathe
The time is now
To make this a better place is what I vow
Then I close my eyes for the last time
I’m not going to resist, I’m not gonna fight
And while I sigh, a lonely wolf howls
And a flock crows fly away, into the crimson night
