Description
Created for the "One Stock" challenge hosted by Entry level 3. My first project of 2011!
- Required stock piece from ~chamberstock
Main frame piece from *JayBird-stock
from =zememz and from *WammyP
from =Sylwia77
I also used a premade from JoesSistah and it can be found here - [link] All other elements are my own and this was done in PSCS4, and took ages! I am lacking in inspiration at the moment so I really struggled
I didn't really want to put wings on the figure in the jar but it didn't look right without them. There's something missing and I can't put my finger on it, and I can so see the fail points but unfortunately I am out of patience with it for now. Any suggestions are always gratefully recieved! I do plan on doing a "jar" series if I can get my but in gear

i love this!
and as far as a suggestion, maybe a lil flair, glimmer, or whatever u want to call it coming from the fairy. I think would add a nice touch.

Absolutely lovely, the lighting is incredible. I love how the light seems to emit from the fae herself.

Good concept and nicely blended. The only problem...you have two light sources. One is the fairy, and there's an opposite light source on the female. I know you probably can't correct this at this time, but do be aware of that in future deviations.

Maybe if the fairy was radiating light, I would believe that she's the light source for the woman.

That's what I was trying for but unfortunately I didn't quite manage to get it right. Every way I tried the figure just didn't look right, I gave up!! So any suggestions on this and how to achieve it would be most appreciated by anyone

I would help, but unfortunately I use PaintShopPro and you probably use PhotoShop. Right?

Wow... just... WOW. The scene is amazing and I love how you took all these happy light photos and made them into something dark and mysterious. If there's anything missing, I would say it has to be with that doorway. It's nice, but it looks like fog or mist is pouring out of it and there is no real fog or mist in the fore or middle grounds, and secondly, I would add something like a faded background of plants or a figure or something just emerging gently from the mist in the doorway. Overall, its a very beautiful artwork.
