im not a huge fan of anime, but i make an exception for Soul Eater, and a couple other ones ^^so yes, here is an awesome crossover of Lyra as Soul Eater ^^ and yes, Bon Bon would be Maka ^^
next up will be Bon Bon as Maka ^^ then fluttershy as crona

Correction, at first Soul was too awesome to be represented by Spike. When they changed his appearance he became too boring to be represented by Spike. In fact i'd say that goes for most of the characters towards the end. Probably because the series became a bit too serious at that point.
Maka became too serious and mom-ish towards Chrona to be Twilight.
Black star became too much of a dick to be Rainbow dash, who is just a bit cocky.
Tsubaki became too talkative to be fluttershy.
Kid's symmetry gag dissapeared which led to way too little amusement from him to be Rarity.
Patty was the exception since she was still kind of amusing in a pinkie-ish way.
Liz lost all purpose and i hardly remember ever seeing her outside gun form towards the end.
The action was still excellent at that point so that's a plus

I'm not sure if you are refering to the manga or the anime, becuase I donΓt know the anime and can't quite follow you ^^
Also the mange is translated only till chapter 20 (that's where they are in moskow ^^)

Actually, my mistake, it's an attack black star uses on Mifune when Tsubaki is in her "uncanny sword form," episode 19 Medusas vector arrow if you're curious. I made a small blunder and thought that it was the name of Black stars father, White star.

Acctually ater Black Star and Tsubaki go to Japan to Tsubakis parents for some time, Black Star meditates and gets in contact with some kind of spirit or so, after that he can use Tsubakis sword soul, without forcing it and without destroying his own soul. Also by that he can use a shadow form of every of Tsubakis normal Forms (sorry if I name any form wrong, I don't know the english anmes ^^):

The anime never had them go to too many places and, as far as i understood, weapons were not born. they only had brothers or sisters which i just guessed were forged through the same material.it wasn't really explained so i just asumed something like this: weapons are living metal but they can breed with meisters. basically, i was in the fucking blue.
as for Tsubaki's forms, all of those forms were in the anime but with som small edits (if i make a mistake and one of these actually were in the manga, my bad) the chain sickle was exchanged for the chain scythe, the dagger was exchanged for a little dinky knife and the shuriken was pretty much the same except for the enhanced attack part.

I think that they fought once and Shinigami, alias Death, pretty much beat the shit out of Asura but then in one of the last episodes they had a rematch and Asura took the cheap way out and fired a lazor at him.

I'm not sure if the maga is finished, but it isn't compleatly translated into german, don't want to spoil that much, but the fight with asura becomes pretty cool, they have like 3 or 4 factions fighting to either kill him or take controll over him and there are guys switching sides and that kind of stuff, waiting to find out how it all ends

In the anime i don't remember anyone switching sides, Mifune was kind uf neutral so he doesn't countbut Stein was pretty close. There are still three factions, the soul reaper academy, Medusa's gang and Queen Arachne's gang. That's the last thing i'll spoil but you should watch the show yourself if you want to know and see the rest

In the manga there are some more ppl. that get "infected" by the madness like stein ^^
After they defeat Arachne there is one faction that wants to add the kishin to their "collection" (they just collect all kind of powerfull stuff ^^) and one afction that is kind of a sect warshiping the kishin in therefor fighting the other faction to defeand him xD
