Description
I have 8 points, which is one of the recursive numbers in mathematics and has mathematically used for over 2 millennia. Recursive patterns, at least in me, induce a state of concentration. This is a Poincare disk that has been combined with a Julia shape to create this mandala. I have 8 points for The Eightfold Path, 16 circles for the prophecies, and an inner eye. This was a fun piece that I have been working on for awhile now and am finally happy with it. I wanted to use hypertile with julia shapes and this is my first image using hypertile/poincare mathematics. The tile was rendered in Chaotica and assembled in photoshop 7x. All fractal drawing was done with Apophysis 7x 15B.
