Well we can certainly be friendly with each other, but whether we become friends is a different matter. There are a few people around here who I'm friends with, but I've known them not only for years, but also have had many long and rather personal conversations with them, to the point where I love talking with them and sharing information, jokes and other such things. And those all happened naturally, not because we asked or planned.
So, long story short, we can continue being pleasant to each other, and who knows, maybe a friendship will grow, maybe it won't, maybe we'll only ever be friendly acquaintances, maybe it won't. We'll see.
