Kansas City Union Station 10/16/15Went on to the Freight House Bridge for a bit and took photos of any trains that passed by with Union Pacific 844 in the background. An eastbound UP coal drag (middle track) was the first to appear, then a westbound stack train bound for Argentine Yard (far back), and a few seconds later a cement hopper train slid by headed for the Ft. Scott Sub.

Actually they wanted the MoPac heritage unit in the consist but they couldn't get because they were told it was on the other side of the system by the time the would leave Cheyenne. Sure enough when they got to North Platte, it rolled by on a freight.

Typical. You want something to happen, get told it won't happen, then someone else busts thier butt to make it happen, but then it all gets canceled.
It might get called poetic.
