Are the animal choices based on the manga covers in which they are side by side with animals? gon was with a frog on the first cover, then kurapika w/ owl, killua w/ wolf, and leorio w/ a betta!

yeah!! i was v interested in the symbolism behind the animals chosen so i looked into it and started thinkin abt chimera ants...then added my own, which are a lot more shallow in symbolism, just fun. gon is part foxbear (bc duh), killua is an eel (..electric), kurapika is a bee (would die for their hive) and leorios is a capybara (notoriously chill)
