Working on a commission that involves a few characters from *Demyrie 's fic "Odd Couple". Do these guys look okay, or should I change something?(Bulky's not in the picture I'm working on, but still, I felt like drawing him.)
Optimus's design is based on how he shows up in "Human Error", except here he's a little younger, like Demyrie's depiction of him. Bee is... Well, he's Bee. I know he's black in "Human Error". Be thankful I gave him green eyes instead of blue. And Bulkhead! Had to give him a funkeh mohawk because he's the tough guy of the group, even though he doesn't mean to be. (His bot mode has the mohawk, see? He's not always stressed, like he is on here.)

Wow, i think your human forms are way better than the ones in human error. Especially Bulkhead, i was really disappointed in his. He definitely should have had the Mohawk. Great job!

That's actually really well done. I still wish that the canon humanized versions of the characters would have looked a bit more like there real selves. I especially love Bulkhead! People always seem to have difficulty with him

Nice work here. I still prefer the show's human Bumblebee since it's a nice change from so many fanon depictions of him across the franchise. Plus he's cute.

I knew human Bee would be short, but wow... They made him really short! I guess he seemed too much like a young child for me; if he had looked a bit older, I suppose I would've felt warmer towards his Human Error version.

I know Bee was supposed to be a kid or a teen, but I seriously didn't know how old he was supposed to be in Human Error. Bulkhead looked kind of like a dorky football player, when I think he should have been a big fluffy SWAT guy.

I loved Ratchet! Optimus's was my favorite by far, though. ;D Good looking piece of man...robot...guy. It really confused me with Bee's Human Error age. I always put him as a teenager and they make him about Sari's age...hmm. I wish they hadn't made Bulkhead blonde, but I think his age was just right.

Oh, man, they're so much better in desigh than official "Human Error" humanization. I wanted CN has used something more similar to them instead of their "voice actors catoonizations". Mainly because moustach-man Prowl looks exactly like my Math teacher

Bulky with a mohawk did throw me off since, well, toughie or not, he's still the softie inside. ^^ Either way, they look great. If I feel off-put, it's because I'm so used to their "Human Error" counterparts. Except Prowl because I have seen way too many fanarts of him as a Japanese hottie. XD

I was really thrown off by Mustache Man Prowl-- come on, REALLY? Prowl? He looked like one of those California Highway Patrol officers that make it their business to smack tickets in your face regardless of whether you were in the right or not. Sure, Prowl has some issues with people like Bee, but come on.
Mohawk Bulky would look fabulous having a paint-spasm with a huge canvas. Awww, PAINTING A PORTRAIT OF ARCEE!

Actually, when I saw human Prowl, I was all "VILLAGE PEOPLE!" I'm actually in the mist of debating on using Canon Human!Prowl vs. the one I envisioned on an upcoming "Discovery" where the Crescendoll gets their own "Human Error" story. I don't particularly care for mustached Prowl (but DAMN is he hot in that uniform), but I like to input as much of canon as possible in my fanwork. And yet I ask myself, "It's still a fancomic that deprives away from the source, does it really matter if I make Prowl a pretty Japanese man (well, sorta, I'm actually not a fan of bishonen and Prowl will not get a ponytail XD)?" I cannot believe I am agonizing over a goddamn cartoon character. XD

I thought Bumblebee was supposed to be Mexican? I thought it was kind of weird that they depicted him as a child though, when he's a soldier. Does Cybertron allow children soldiers?

HAHAHA! When I first saw his Human Error form I thought "Whoa whoa whoa, Bee's a Mex?! I thought they would've made him black! Like Bumper!" and then I thought "Ah, wait. Hmm..."
I think Bumblebee's not really a child, but a 17-year-old when he went into training; he might've lied about his age so he could have a hotshot job with the Elite Guard early. Soundwave probably sucks at determining ages. Or Derrick decided to make sure Bumblebee was always the little guy of the group. :/

I saw it more along the lines that the Elite Guards and Cybertron govenrment aren't all "good" as much as they will take questionable actions to accomplish said "good". I loved the ambiguous nature of the Cybertron government, it gives them some depth beyond simple "good vs. evil".
