Kiara is a 15-year old girl from South Africa. She, like many people in the world, have learned to unlock their inner energy to perform superhuman abilities. But unlike most people in the world, Kiara finds it difficult to control her inner potential. But when she uses her inner powers, she becomes a walking nuclear war. The governments of the world have been trying to find her to suppress her power - but Kiara seeks to control it for the greater good. She is caring of her friends, and is fond of competitions of games. However, when it comes to protecting her people from harm and injustice, she means business.

I have many plans to make more black OCs in the future, especially in the wake of George Floyd's death and the Black Lives Matter protests. I already have quite a few in mind, especially for EDGE, which is going to be my most ethnically inclusive work.

I decided to listen to Beyonce's album "The Lion King: The Gift". And I LOVE it. I love it when artists come together to make music of their culture while taking pride in who they are. Every song on The Lion King: The Gift is absolutely amazing, such as "MOOD 4 EVA" and "KEYS TO THE KINGDOM". However, I absolutely love the song "MY POWER". That song was so good, I decided to make Kiara, who is inspired in a way by the song. I even just realized her dress is red, like Beyonce's in the "MY POWER" music video.

Since I am making my first African character, I really had to make sure I was portraying her in a positive manner. I didn't want to culturally appropriate Africa, nor did I want to perpetuate stereotypes about Africa.

So I decided to make her a girl with the ability to activate a Super Saiyan-like form. What do you think of her?
