Thank you for the lovely comment and reference. What a beautiful, traditional rendering that is. I really appreciate your comment since Kandinsky is one of my all time favorite painters. I saw a retrospective of his work at The Chicago Institute of Art some years back and was even more impressed by the work. It has wonderful scale and blissful technique, and the show took my breath away. I'll never forget it.

Yep, there definitely seems to be an illustration bias over here ... not that illustration isn't a perfectly acceptable form of expression (I do some illustration myself)... but I'd like to see more abstract stuff from time to time.
Jorgen has an amazing sense of detail, which I am drawn to in general, but I'm not big on the nude figures, call me old fashioned
