Benezia cosplays are pretty rare to see ! I had a look at all your pictures and let me tell you that you did an excellent job on this one, especially the make-up. There's no way to see where your face ends and where the prosthetic begins, you look like an actual asari rather than a human dressing up as an asari. Congrats !

Yeah i really wanted to get some photos with the headdress off, so i went for it and did the full prosthetic underneath too

And the prosthetic looks SUPER neat. Did you do your own makeup?

I'm just so impressed that you actually made such a functional headpiece. Usually that kind of thing is on there for better or worse. Is it a huge effort to take it off?

Hi, yes i did. I'll admit there is a little bit of photoshop on the seam line as i had to rush to get out in time for a photoshoot, and as most of the time i was wearing the headdress (which only works with the prosthetic underneath), but the makeup and prosthetic painting are all my own work.
It takes around 2 hours to put it all on, and about an hour to take it off as i use alcohol airbrush paints usually and proper prosthetic adhesives. I take it off slowly so as not to damage the prosthetic. I use a proper prosthetic adhesive remover which is oily and you have to carefully work a cotton bud dipped in it around the edge of the prosthetic and work it loose. Once off its then a case of removing any residual glue and the makeup.
