your painting styles are amazing. most of all the colors are beautiful.
in this piece if the micro/macro scale relationship couldn't be better. interesting that you say a feeling of a vision. to me that could be simply the swirl, elaborated on, instead of the fancy christmas lights or whatever i pretend to label them. because replicating visions or ideas for that matter can be horrible failures, that's the artist's struggle i guess. but when you paint with feelings maybe you are more successful in conveying the emotion than the precision of a fleeting memory. not something i had really considered before...i always struggle with being precise. also here i like the greens on the blues and the blues on the greens, the general mishmash of color not restricted to a specific area.

the dabbed brushstroke is very appealing to me- it would seem like this would have a very interesting texture to it- gobbing on paint like that tends to get dreadfully expensive, but the effect is so engaging.
