Now I drew Rouen, a character from a video game called Shining Wind, which I have not played it and possibly never play (only was released in Japan). I liked the character design, when I first see him in a youtube video, I loved it, he seems to be a very nice guy (or wolf) I Hope you like it.



Ahora dibujé a Rouen, un personaje de un videojuego llamado Shining Wind, él cual no he jugado y posiblemente nunca juegue (solo salió en Japón). Me gustó mucho el diseño de este personaje, cuando lo vi por primera ves en un video de youtube, me encantó, parece ser un muy buen tipo (o lobo) Espero les guste.

He is from an anime series called Shining Tears X Wind... though never was released in America, but he has some fan art here.

Oh by the way since you asked me what app I use (which is Flash CS3) It's a very powerful application it's vector art/animation/web development/web applications all in one if you are ever interested in learning feel free to ask me I'm a total flash nerd lol I have little over 100 videos tutorials on youtube most of them about flash, and I personally love teaching others to use it so I can always be there to teach it. 


Right now I'm actually working on a free 61 part video series "Vector art in Flash CS3+" but you'll see that maybe end of this month on DA it's allot of planning and i must get project files ready. Oh and these are in English lol Spanish is my first language but I'm better at English Que chiste no ? X3

Do not worry, if I do not I have any setbacks, you'll see a new Rouen's pic in a couple of months. xD


Wow! that's great so if one day I want to do a flash animation, I already know who to ask. x3


And about your video series, I think these will be great, I can't wait to see... omg... entonces sabes hablar español!? x'D I'm not so good with english (especially my pronunciation XP), so sorry if I have mistakes from time to time. ^^'

Hehe! That's part of being in an art community you learn from others, others learn from you either directly or in-directly through your art.Just remember Just like drawing Animation takes time.


Si! Hablo espanol  mas o menos hehe..La cosa es que solo hablo espanol en mi casa, la escuela y como 90% de mi amigos es todo Ingless pues tengo mas practica para el Ingles.

That's right, That's what I love about this community, you learn a lot from watching other artists art, that's really cool!  And on the animations, I know that they must take their good time, but I'm a very patient person. x'D

Sale en un anime?! ...tengo que verlo!!

No sabia que la serie Shining tuviera anime, solo sabia de los videojuegos y no mucho, para serte sincero conocí la serie este año y me llamo la atención por este tipo (Rouen) especialmente.

Y pues según wikipedia Shining Wind (el videojuego) solo salió en Japón para PS2, y si vi que otros juegos de la serie salieron en USA y Europa, pero el Wind no x'D

Y si conozco mas personajes, pero solo de vista, no me se sus nombres, solo el de Rouen porque lo investigue mas a fondo... tenia que saber todo de él... aunque no encontré mucho por desgracia. xDU

Yo ni he jugado ni he visto el anime de la serie Shining y no creo jugar los juegos, pero el anime a lo mejor la veo si no tiene demasiados episodios xP y por cierto gracias por las imagenes xD tambien me gustó este personaje [link] aunque Rouen sigue siendo mi favorito

Oh, Ain esta genial, tengo que dibujarlo algún día también xD ahí si tienes mas links de imagenes de él luego me las pasas

Yes, this game was only sold in Japan.

Shining Wind is a RPG game, I'm not a big fan of RPG games, but some of these have really great characters (like Rouen).

It's a shame it was never localized. Then again, Sega doesn't care about Shining anymore over there. That's why EXA was the last game we got. Rouen is actually one of the more compelling characters in Wind, so it'd have been nice had this actually come here.

I'm not really a follower of the Shining series (actually I knew this game this year, in one occasion I saw videos on YouTube and found a video in which appeared Rouen), but I guess this should have a lot of fans in America, would have been great that would more Shining games on this side of the globe (so maybe I would have met before this series).

It did once. I think the Shining fan numbers have dwindled after the series changed into the action RPG derivative.
