I don't consider it copwyrigt violation since i only got inspired by it... I mean i only did a poorly pencil sketch after it and then added the colours the way i wanted. I hope that's ok..
Oh, and excuse the bad quality of the image. Unfortunately i live like a cave man and have to take pictures of my works since i don't own a scanner..

I'd still consider it copyright violation, unless you asked for permission from the original artist, James Brewer, to copy his work. Even with the minor changes, there's no mistaking where it came from.

If it comes to that much trouble I'll just delete it, no big deal. I can live without the pleasure of sharing my poor art. Sharing as in 'showing' differs from 'selling' and this is all that I grasp from what copyright laws refer to.

Copyrights don't only apply to selling. And I appreciate tribute works as much as anyone, but you should at least credit the right person and contact them first before posting it. James Brewer may even like it and say you can. It's just common courtesy. If someone went and ripped off my work, I'd be pretty peeved, and I'm sure you would too if someone did the same.
I don't want you to delete it, just give credit where credit is due, and make sure you have permission to use something.

Hey, this is really good! I doubt I could do that well at copying realism... Mind if I give you a few constructive criticisms? I realize you probably won't be going back and changing the drawing (especially because it's traditionally drawn and it's harder to correct mistakes that way) but it could help keep things in mind for the future! The only crits I'm going to mention are things that are in the original drawing but not yours, ok? There may be things that just aren't showing up in the photo, and I'm sorry if I just can't see them
For Stan- I think his neck looks a little flat, perhaps it could use more shading under the chin? The pompom doesn't look circular enough (kinda lopsided), and there's this one really bold squiggle with detracts from the nice shading. On the original drawing, I think the eyes are a little bigger, maybe it's my imagination? I think the lips are a tad flat looking (then again, it could be the picture)- in the sketch the lips are dark around the edges and fade extremely quickly to a light color... That's all I can think of for Stan.
Kyle- I think this is the best of your four, or maybe it's just that I think Kyle looks really cute in both pictures
Cartman: You did an excellent job on him, too! The expression seems slightly more menacing in yours, which just adds to his obvious personality! The face folds are great, the hat is good, and the shirt buttons pop acordingly 
Kenny- he's so cute
Overall, though, I think you did a wonderful job- there are far more things you did right than you did wrong, which is always a good thing

No, you haven't bothered me at all! Thanks so much for having the interest and patience to analyse my drawing in SUCH detail!
I appreciatte your critics, i see your points, and i think you're right, but i must add that i never ever thought of making the drawing look 100% like its original uncoloured version. My first pencil sketch (which was the hardest to draw) with my soft shades looked pretty much like it, but then i decided to add colours to make it more lively, but not in a realistic way (the uncoloured version looks way more realistic than mine, in my opinion). I wanted to give them colours to highlight their personalities and stuff... You know what i mean, i'm not very good in finding my words either.
But once i finished the drawing and took a photo of it (i do NOT have a scanner; i am poor) i was a bit dissapointed to see that most of the shades have faded out because of the light (which apparently comes from a bad angle; i suck at taking photos). So every time i finish the drawing, i must be really carefull when i take the photo, and sometimes i try many times before i say 'Ok, this will be it.' The lines, colours and shades look stronger and more detailed on the paper.
Anyway, i must say, i did Cartman's teeth like that intentionally

It would make sense to not make the drawing 100% like the original, because that way you can feel like you added more of yourself in it and can be prouder of it! I think the actual colors are great- you did an excellent job conveying their personalities
Hmmm... I never even thought about making his teeth like that! Yeah, I think it does suit him better, and, of course, you have the right to whatever reality you want
