I recently adopted an inkling from Fluffy-Freak and wanted to put her to use in my art straight away.
I was experimenting a bunch with this, but I like how it turned out. <3 The new inkling doesn't have a name quite yet, but she should soon. :> Since I want these two to be buddies I figured I'd show the new inkling with my own inkling. My inkling is both an OC and a persona/inksona, yes. xD But I figure these two are good buddies and hang out a lot! And this would probably be after a turf war match where they're gossiping about the match.
I always pictured Splatoon's lobby to be a gear up area since you can access your gear and all. So kind of like a locker room of sorts where everyone gets ready for a match! Since I left out their headgear and footwear, the idea is that they're relaxing and waiting for the next match, or they're swapping gear while chatting.
Either way I love the new inkling lots and hope to do more with her in the future.

Haha....reminds me I should go back to play more Splatoon again.
Been a long time since I last played it and I bet you'd have fun with me joining in again...especially given the new modes and styles available. Could create a private arena for just us.
