Speedpainting of a random landscape from Dark Aether, in Metroid Prime 2 Echoes.I havent done a speed painting in quite some time, and Im very pleased with how well this one came out.

This is interesting, considering that, in the game, you really can't see any stars. I always assumed that the dimension Dark Aether resides in doesn't really have an expansive space and is really just a place-holder for the planet until it overshadows the light world, which would mean that there are no stars or planets there. In the game, all you see are swirling purple and black clouds, which then turn red once you take away the Planetary Energy from a region of the planet.
Still an interesting take, though. Ominous, serene, but also spoopy.

I love this already!!
It's so beautiful and serene looking, and it's ironic--Metroid Prime 2 was pretty...I don't know...action-packed. And yet, there were probably a LOT of pretty quiet moments, even in Dark Aether.
It's awesome that you thought of this in the first place. Too few people capture this side of the Metroid universe.
