Description

[Synopsis]

'In an alternate timeline where things took a turn for the worst
during the events of 'True Colors',

Anne Boonchuy ended up permanently stranded in Amphibia
when the Calamity Box ended up destroyed in the ensuring battle
against King Andrias and Darcy (which cost Anne her arm in the process.)

With no way back home, Anne settled in Wartwood
and began a new life with her boyfriend and fellow castaway' Olivier Clawthorne.

(the son of Edalyn Clawthorne,
the infamous Owl Lady of the Boiling Isles.)

The pair eventually married once they turned eighteen,
and ten years since the fall of Newtopia, they are now expecting their second child.

As an adult, Anne is now barely recognizable from who she was before Amphibia.
The once lazy slacker is now a hard working farmer and co-owner
of the 'Lily Pad Thai' mobile restaurant fwagon.

Serving her family's Thai Food to ALL of Amphibia.

Anne still misses her parents, and hopes they have managed to move on.
BUT also still holds hope that she will one day find a way back to her own world...

...so she may introduce her children to their grandparents,
and let them know that she is okay.'

I felt like drawing a character design for Anne Boonchuy
from my "Amphibia: No Way Home" AU spinoff story.

Which is basically my take of "What If Anne Stayed in Amphibia/Never Returned Home."

So, I took how Anne looks officially as an adult,
and took some creative liberties with the design.

I gave her longer hair (without a ponytail) to make her look more unique,
and because I kinda wanted Anne to resemble Eda Clawthorne from The Owl House.

Which is also why she is in her green "Spa" gown from that one episode of the show
where she tried having a "Girl's Day Out" with Polly.

(I like that dress, and she pulled it off nicely.)

I also added an Owlbert necklace to further emphasize
that Anne is a Clawthorne in this continuity.

And, yes: Anne IS pregnant in this artwork.
