Description I decided that i wanted to draw my FAVORITE "Tough Girls" of animation.

so, shown here are Buttercup, of "The Powerpuff Girls"
and, Mandy of "The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy"

Like her sisters, Buttercup has superpowers (same as Superman, plus a few extras)
but, Buttercup has ALWAYS been billed as "The Toughest Fighter"

which is a pretty big deal, since ALL the PPG are pretty tough, themselves.

Buttercup has an aggressive personality.
tends to punch first, then THINK about asking questions later.

she is basicly the Poster Girl for "Tomboy."

Mandy has no real powers..
in fact, with her pink dress, you'd think she'd be a typical "girly girl"

but, this is all a facade that masks a truely DARK person.
Mandy posesses near-unbreabable Will, and strikes fear in the hearts of the most vile of demons.

heck, Mandy co-owns the Grim Reaper, DEATH Incarnate.
so, she hardly counts as "average" amongs mortal humans.

Okay, i'm going to be blunt here.
i drew this artwork because i plan on doing something like this in my fictions.

on account that in my personal crossover canon.
i paired up Buttercup with a GREEN LANTERN, and Mandy with a GHOST RIDER
(who are two superhero characters who are VERY Powerful..but, Highly Underated.)

sort of a Crossover Team-Up thing.

That, and Buttercup and Mandy are awesome characters.

I agree, Buttercup and Mandy are awesome characters. It's a bit surprising that you like Mandy seeing how you're not really a fan of evil characters or OCs.

For example you prefer good Bliss over her evil version.

I wonder how Dr. Utonium would deal with Fred Fredburger?

FRED FREDBURGER, FRED FREDBURGER, FRED FREDBURGER, FRED FREDBURGER, FRED FREDBURGER!

Bliss = (sleeping to escape the madness)

I really should do one where Bliss meets Mandy but neither of them can warp each other's minds for some reason.

Both have iron wills and are just too evil.

Bliss' cannibalism unfazes Mandy, and Mandy co-owning Death unfazes Bliss. In fact Grim might like the serial killer, because well, she DOES fetch a lot of souls for him doesn't she?

In my version of Grim Adventures, Mandy isn't "evil" persay.
she just has a bad attitude, dislikes the way the world works
and, believes that she could do a "better job"

but, in my Grim Adventures/Ghost Rider canon..she mellows out a little.

i'm also mellowing out Grim.
showing him as a guy whose only doing his job
and, isn't really as evil as most people believe
(in fact, MY Grim is a Ghost Rider fanboy.)

in fact, i'm thinking of having Mandy and her family move to the PPG Universe
and, have Mandy's son and Buttercup's daughter be in a relationship.

you know..cuz Buttercup and Mandy as in-laws is funny.

And Buttercup having a "talk" with Mandy's son would be funny.

Then Mandy having a "talk" with Buttercup for having a "talk" with her son.

Man, it makes it even funnier.

Buttercup then has a "talk" with Mandy for having a "talk" with her.

It becomes an endless cycle of "talks."

My interpertation of "THE TALK" is kinda like that..

I imagine Buttercup would give THE TALK to Mandy's Son.
AND, at the same time, Mandy would give HER TALK to Buttercup's Daughter.

my reasons being that BOTH mothers are protective of their specific children for their own reasons.

You already know of Buttercup's attachment to Erika.
how she was concieved when Buttercup thought she'd never see Eric alive, again.
and, resolved to raise and protect Erika IF Eric nevered returned from war.

Mandy has a similair issue with her son.

as i will soon write, Jackie was Mandy's first child.
BUT, when he was born..he was a "stillborn" (he wasn't breathing, and didn't have a pulse.)

the doctors proclaimed Jackie DEAD.
but, Mandy was stubborn, refusing to accept this.

Mandy blew air into Jackie's lungs
and, (and, this is poetic here) with her own breath..brought her baby back from the dead.

Ever since then, Mandy's been "protective" of Jackie.
and, is ALWAYS suspicious of girls who are interested in him.

i imagined Mandy sometimes goes: "if you break my son's heart..i will BURN YOU'RE SOUL."

Why would Mandy be so afraid? Can't she just call Grim to bring the kid back to life? I think Mandy is immortal just because she simply OWNS the Grim Reaper.

If I had Death as a friend, I really wouldn't fear it anymore.

My friend dies in a car accident? Bring him back Grim OR ELSE! *Mandy stare*

Grim has no choice in the matter.

MetroXLR In reply to The--Predator [2013-03-22 22:10:18 +0000 UTC]

Because in my version of Grim Adventures, Grim isn't the ONLY personification of "Death"

the TRUE Death Incarnate in "The Angel of Death"
who founded "The Grim Reapers" to help make her job easier
(this theory is partly inspired by the GA episode, where Grim encountered the Grim Reaper of Planet Mars)

there are OTHER Reapers out there.
but, they ALL answer to the Angel of Death
(meaning the Death Angel is Grim's actual BOSS)

so, it doesn't matter if Mandy owns Grim or not
(OR, if Grim doesn't want to reap her child's soul or not)

if ANY of the Grim Reapers fail to perform their duty's properly.
then, the Angel of Death will come and do it HERSELF.

and, Mandy has no control of HER.
and, probably can't intimidate her, either
(my incarnation of the Death Angel is just as Stern as Mandy is.)

Hope this makes sense to you.

I remember an episode where Grim extends a man's life by turning the sand clock thing upside down so he might have some sort of influence.

But I like your theory too.

There was also an episode where Grim awards those who stay healthy and exercise often "Bonus Years"
(which is comically representes as a Certificate.)

I also like how Grim once stated that he HATES the "Undead"
as according to him, it makes a mockery of his work.

Anyway, i liked the Angel of Death backstory.
because it gives Grim is own boss (other than Mandy)

and, shows that Billy and MAndy aren't in COMPLETE control over Death.

also, the Angel of Death's appearance is pretty cool.

like Grim, she wears a Black and Red robe.
and, her trademark weapon is also a scythe.

but, she has Ash Black wings
she looks human, but has Grey Skin, Yellow/Red eyes and snow white hair.

It can be assumed that the Angel of Death is the "outcast" among heavens other angels.

as such, she has a dark attitude that is similair to Mandy.

I wonder, how many "Gods" are there in your multiverse.

I wonder how they would react upon meeting their counterparts? Seeing (coming from a former Christian) as how "there can only be one."

Sorry for asking a religious question, but seeing as how you have demons and angels, then there must be "the One" that rules the angels.

Also, is there a possibility that there is one multiversal architect or manager? Someone who overseers the entire fabric of existence?

Someone like Dormin?

I try not to delve into too much Religious Content (as to not offend anymone by accident)
but, i like to think that "The One Above All" allows the "others" to thrive
so long as they all acknowledge that HE is "Top God."

and, don't try and challenge him, or proclaim that their better than he is.

Remember what happened to Lucifer?? (the ORIGINAL Supervillain)
he became Satan because he was vain, and thought himself better than his master.

even Non-Religious people know THAT story
(Heck, the concept of a Good Person turning Evil is scientifically called: "The Lucifer Factor")

In fact, i have the theory that Lucifer/Satan is such a celebrity amongs other demons.
that most Demon Lords TRY and imitate him, modeling themselves after him
(Him is a good example, despite his "questionable fashion sense"
it's pretty obviously that Him is trying to imitate the actual Devil.)

"Imitation Is The Sincerest Form Of Flattery."

Anyway, the point is, in my canon: There are Angels, there are Demons, There are Gods.
doesn't matter if you are a Bible Reader or Comic Book Reader (they are in ALL of them)

so, let's just leave it at that.
