I saw this commercial too, it's funny seeing the YouTube comments on it and how people are saying "Star Wars is ruined!" or some other stupid thing.

I read them just to see how stupid people can get. I get a good laugh out of the constant flame wars that come from there, although I will always prefer DeviantArt for when it comes to having an intelligent conversation.

though, let's look at it realistically: How WOULD Darth Vader react to encountering another Sith Lord?
because in one EU Comic, he encountered Darth Maul, and his interaction with him was less than peaceful.

technically, Vader isn't as dark as most people think: Luke wouldn't have been able "save" his father if Anakin was completely under the Emperor's control; still, I can see what you mean here

I've played Kingdom Hearts games enough to know that Light and Darkness isn't as polarized at people think.
they aren't to separate opposing elements, but two halves that make a whole.
Afterall..Shadows need LIGHT is cast a Shade.
Vader first showed remnants of his Light when he and Sidiou first discussed Luke Skywalker.
At first, the it appeared that the Emperor wanted to simply DESTROY Skywalker (as he was a threat)
but, Vader made an effort to convince Sidious that he's be more useful as an asset.
IF Vader was truely Pure Darkness, he'd obey his master, and destroy Luke without a second thought.
but, numerous times he tried to persuade Luke to joined him, so they may destroy the Emperor and, "Rule the Galaxy as FATHER and SON."
While his intentions were obviously Dark, the fact that he wanted his son at his side
implies that he DOES love his son, and wanted to be part of his life.
In that sense, Darth Vader was more immersed in the "Shadow Side", than the Dark Side.

exactly; I've once heard a theory that darkness isn't a bad thing unless you MAKE it that way, and while I don't agree with it 100%, I know that just because someone gives into their darker desires doesn't necessarily make the person dark themselves; I PERSONALLY believe that sometimes the best way to show people the light of hope is through way of the shadows (though I'll understand if you don't know what the heck I'm talking about here)
