Description After 'Jurassic World', I wouldn't be surprised if Dr. Wu did something like this..

So, this is from a Mod for the PC version of Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis,
where you can clone the 1998 Godzilla (or, "Zilla") in your dinosaur theme park.

It isn't the perfect mod, but still pretty cool to turn Jurassic Park into "Monster Island"

The mod's "backstory" states that after the original Zilla was defeated in New York on 1998,
InGen managed to get samples of it's blood, and cloned it's own 'kaiju' for another theme park.

(sarcastically) yeah..THAT won't backfire on them AT ALL!)

Given that there is already an actual dinosaur called the "Gojirasaurus",
It wouldn't surprise me if Henry Wu tampered with it's DNA to make it more appealing to guests.

You know..make it BIGGER, Cooler..More TEETH.

Dr. Wu has learned nothing after five movies of this shit!

Dr. Wu: I have the DNA of a mutated, radioactive iguana, I should splice it with my samples of Indominous Rex to make it more appealing to guests! Make it BIGGER, Cooler, with more teeth! This can't possibly go wrong.

{20 seconds after debuting Zilla 2.0 has used it's atomic breath to escape and leave the park entirely}

Dr. Wu: Oops....

Dr. Wu is the Anti-Dr. Malcolm.

Ian Malcolm questions Everything, while Henry Wu questions Nothing.

Dr. Wu would have been right at home at Appature Science
: Science isn't about why, It's about why not! Why is so much of our science dangerous?! Why not marry safe science if you love it so much!

No argument there.

Dr. Wu even stated himself: "If I don't Innovate, Someone ELSE will."
Which isn't that far from the quote that you just stated.

Very true. I could see Dr. Wu deciding to splice Indominous Rex's genes into Zilla's just for "innovation". Creating an "Indominazlla". Hell I could see him splicing genes from Godzilla, Anguirus, Rodan, Varan, Gorosaurus, Baragan King Ghidorah, Destoroyah and Zilla with Indominous Rex to do that. Then we'd need  Godzilla, Mothra, Mothra Leo, Anguirus, Rodan, Varan, Gorosaurus, Baragan and Zilla Jr. to deal with it.

Scary thing is that as Legendary pictures produced both Jurassic World,
AND the Monsterverse films, a crossover film wouldn't be that hard to do.

(fact, both Godzilla and King Kong had themes and dialogue that mirrored Jurassic Park/World.)

I think I’m looking at it wrong, but I swear Zilla only has three limbs.
Failed experiment?
Kill it and start over?

It's the angle, yes. Zilla has all four limbs here.

just out of curiosity any chance of making a similar mod for JW Evolution?

You'd have to talk to the creators of this Mod.

Though, JPOG was an old game that had a text-based program,
that allowed for it to be easily modded by hardcore gamers.

I am uncertain at the level of difficulty there would be at modding the PC version of JWE.

Certainly doesn't hurt to try. I would love to see Zilla with 'Evolution's' graphics.

You know what? I had completely forgotten about how Operation Genesis was made. Not to mention the fact it ran on Windows ME and 98 but Win98 was pushing it. Still it was old fashion coding. Most operating systems don't allow you to pull up DOS anymore. Still have my copy of Jpog somewhere around here, so I might try the zilla mod if I can get it to load. Not sure if my current system can play games that old. wait I just remembered this bloody thing doesn't have a disc drive. got an external but not sure how well that will work.

Back to the Kaiju, while zilla would be awesome to see in JWE the new Godzilla would be just as cool to see towering over the Indominous rex. I-rex will panic!

One thing I have noticed about JWE, the dinosaurs don't 'rest' like they did in JPOG and if they do I haven't seen them do so. The get 'ill', they 'panic', they 'hunt', they 'attack', and they 'roam', but they don't 'sleep'. Not sure if that's just me or if others have noticed something similar, but it's just darn creepy that they don't 'sleep'. Pay mind to that next time you play JWE.

I actually have downloaded the game from a website.
It's not perfect (the downloaded version is missing the intro cinematic) but, it works on my VAIO Sony Laptop.

Anyway, YES. that is one change made during development of 'Evolution'
that many users find detached from the immersion of the games (along with Indestructible Vehicles.)

Oddly enough, 'Sleeping' WAS suppose to be in the game early in development,
as a trailer showing test footage of gameply showed a T. Rex sleeping.

I love the game, but I question some design choices made by Frontier.

And, yes. I do agree that Legendary's Godzilla would be a great addition.
(Especially given that Legendary Pictures itself have produced both Jurassic World, AND Godzilla.)

For me, Zilla in Jurassic Park is less of a monster,
And, more of a typical dinosaur given far too much growth hormones.

I mean, they say Velociraptors are too big, but THIS is far too much!
