[Synopsis]
'No sooner had one door closed..Another one opened.
After years of struggling, the warriors of light finally defeated Xehanort, and unraveled his master plan.
But..there was no time to celebrate, nor to mourn those that were lost during the Keyblade War.
Just as the guardians of light were starting to relax..one-by-one, Everyone Vanished.
and, not just loved ones in the room. it was happening on EVERY world everywhere..
..like DUST in the wind.
With only Axel, Riku, Aqua and Mickey left, they track down the source of this mysterious catastrophe.
and, to their horror, they uncover that while they were chasing Xehanort's shadows, Another evil was sowing seeds of chaos.
And, by using SIX stones of infinity..wiped out half of all life within the cosmos.
..rendering all their sacrifices for naught.
Can it be undone?..
CAN the Keybearers restore trillions of hearts that were snuffed out like so many candles??

I got hit with some inspiration following my chance at playing Kingdom Hearts 3,
and this is my idea for a possible Kingdom Hearts spin-off that could adapt Marvel content.
(Either as a "wish this was a real game" fantasy, or something I may seriously write later on.)
What if..What if MCU's Thanos really exists in the Kingdom Hearts universe??
What if during that Dark Seeker saga with Xehanort, Thanos was hunting for the Infinity Stones.
and, just as the heroes defeated Xehanort..Thanos SNAPPED his fingers.
In the original Infinity War, he wiped out half of all life in the universe.
So, what if in this applied to the entire Kingdom Hearts universe as well??
Every world that exists..from the original, Square-Enix, to Disney.
Everywhere..half of the population fade away into dust.
How can the 'Keybladers' possibly stop this previously unknown threat..that seems to have ALREADY won??
So, yeah. maybe not the Kingdom Hearts IV that we may get in the end.
But, for those who wanted their 'Marvel World'..THIS is my best idea.
(though, rather than just a World, it's the whole, dang plot.)
Just a thought is all.

Man, KH and Infinity War/Endgame would go great together, anyway, out of curiosity, did you encounter writers block on Darkwing Ducktales: Return of the Dark Avenger? Ironic what their setting up for Season 3 as well XD, i watched the Season 2 Finale a few days ago, it was phenomenal, i also don't mind how they introduced Darkwing and Negaduck into the Ducktales Reboot either

Not necessarily, but Kingdom Hearts and Infinity Stones would work excellently...in the same way Marvel vs Capcom Infinite did Infinity Stones.

I am still continuing with my own version of DuckTales, regardless.
I may try to adapt some aspects from Season Two,
but for the most part, I am not deviating from my own continuity.
(which may be a good thing. As I have received positive feedback from readers
who like how my version of Della Duck didn't lose her leg like the canon one did.)
On a related note..wouldn't it be great if Della Duck were in a Kingdom Hearts game?
Donald is obviously there, as is 'Uncle Scrooge', and the Nephews.
So, I really would love for Della to appear in some Kingdom Hearts game.

Yeah, i LOVE KH and Ducktales, I own the 1.5 and 2.5 Collections for PS3 and have the 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue and KH 3 for the PS4, I would actually like for them to update Scrooge and the Triplets to the 2017 versions in Future Installments, although, if that were to happen, i think they'd have to update Donald to his 2017 version
Then it would feel weird next to the old Mickey and Goofy, they could also bring in Webby, Beakley, Gizmoduck, Bubba, Launchpad etc into KH as well, heck, bring in Darkwing, Negaduck, Gosalyn, Baloo, Kit, Rebecca, Molly etc, maybe even a few characters from Rescue Rangers, KH has already got Chip and Dale, Della could also pilot the Gummi Ship if they include her XD
Back to the 2017 Ducktales characters appearing in KH, in case you didn't know, in the KH Union X Mobile game, you can collect medals which shows the 2017 Triplets, Scrooge, Webby and Launchpad, but you likely know that already
Yeah, i like the way your going with your fic as well, especially the implied Dewey x Lena in the future, that is my fav ship from the 2017 Ducktales, the ship doesn't get enough love, there are rarely any fics of that pairing, but there is a LOT of Debbigail, there is even fics about Huey and Louie being paired with Lena and obviously with Webby as well, i don't even ship Dewey with Webby or Huey or Louie with Lena honestly, but regardless, looking forward to the Darkwing Ducktales update
You know, someone began a series of Fics, its Marvel x Ducktales, well, MCU Marvel really, it's about a Male Kree OC and his Pet Flerken being transported to the Ducktales Earth, it's pretty good, the Author told me they will include the Avengers etc later on, heck, in his AU, Big Hero 6 is in the same Universe as the MCU, so San Fransokyo exists in his AU MCU, the Author has already completed the first fic and is working on the 2nd, it's very good

I haven't gotten that far, but I've seen enough videos (especially parodies) to know this is true.
And, let's be real. Like the MCU, Kingdom Hearts is a series that has spent years
building up to something big, with a plot so complicated..we needed compilation titles just to to understand it.

I honestly don't get why people say Kingdom Hearts's story is complicated, I played KH2 when I was very young, I didn't get the plot sure, but at the time the only thing I cared about was the gameplay, but when I started getting into the story I don't remember having trouble with it, I think it's just an exageration...

Now, what 'I' personally don't get is why so many are calling Kingdom Hearts 3 a 'terrible' game.
Their 'points' are laughable, too.

It's an RPG, you aren't suppose to speed run it. It's Kingdom Hearts, not Crash Bandicoot.

I really think fans should be more grateful that they even got a third game,
considering what else Square-Enix had on their plate at the time.
Plus, with all the "Kingdom Hearts 3 Fanfictions" written since the second game,
I don't think anyone was going to be 100% satisfied with this game.

To be fair, SOME story points will make more sense if you played an earlier game
(which wasn't made easy when they started releasing said games exclusively on handhelds.)
But, yes. for the most part, one could play a game without knowing 'everything'
..although, that isn't the case with Kingdom Hearts 3.
you HAVE to know what came before (just like Endgame was with the MCU.)
Fortunately, even KH3 had a decent recap, so one won't be completely lost.

I am sorry that you had to deal with those kind of fans.
BUT, as BlueandDark also stated in the comments, the final act of KH3
was a near parallel to Infinity War/Endgame.
I mean, really..we've spent how many years following these various titles,
which were leading up to this grand finale that would payoff everything.
I wouldn't mind one bit if Kingdom Hearts III was given the subtitle "ENDGAME."
