Out of curiosity where did you get the inspiration for his logo?

It wasn't too hard to do.
I just took Batman'sclassic Β bat symbol,
and altered it so it was more Owl-like. an "Owl Symbol"
As I looked at Owlman as a perfect polar opposite to Batman.
so, I wanted to have Owlman resemble Batman as much as possible..
So, my answer is simply: Batman.

Well, It IS decidedly more 'epic' than just a plain, simple "O", isn't it?

I like this a lot, I'm putting Owlman in a picture I'm making and was wondering if I could slap this bad boy on him,Β I will give you full credit for the logo

Go right ahead.
I rather like this symbol better than most others, anyway.Β
I have even drawn my own Owlman pics in the Bruce Timm art style (Batman: The Animated Series) with it.

I think it works. What was your medium? This is precisely the sort of thing that Illustrator was tailor-made for. Especially when creating bold, symmetric symbols, I find it best to perfect one side, then copy and flip it to make the other side, then join them. That way, they come out PERFECTLY symmetrical and balanced.

You Mean, Batman's Emblem On ONE SIDE And Owlman's On the Other??
I Already Made a Picture Like That.
Now, If Your Asking Where I Got This Idea From...
I Figured Owlman (Being Batman's Evil Mirror-verse Counterpart) Should Be a "Reverse Image Of Batman.
I Created The Emblem Based On Batman's, But More OWL-LIKE.
The "Notches" In The Wings Came From The NIGHTWING Emblem From The GOTHAM NIGHTS Series (And, Teen Titans)
Obviously, I Based The Head On the HORNED OWL, Because It Still Looks Like Batman.
This Works Better or Me Than The "O" On The Chest or An "Owl face".
Note: I Will Work On a Colored Version Of Owlman's Costume Later.
Looking At This, You Can tell How He Will Look (Grey Cape And Cowl, Black Suit)

Actually, if you've never used a vector program like Illustrator (or CorelDraw), it would be a little hard to explain what I meant. I was just saying how I get symmetrical emblems to look all even and balanced (where the right side is the exact mirro-image of the left). I look forward to seeing the costume. You're explanation was helpful, as I felt that some of the elements were familiar, but I didn't recall from where.

Oh, So That's What You Meant....An Art Program.
I Did This By HAND DRAWING It, Taking a Digital Photo....Then, Using An Average Computer Program Called PAINT To Color It In.
For a GOOD REFERENCE To The Color Scheme Of The Owlman Costume, Try Looking At The JUSTICE LORD BATMAN Costume From The Justice League Series. (That Was a BLACK SUIT With a Grey Cape/Cowl)
