hi~ u said u wanted me to critique, so here goes~
first of all, the anatomy is kinda off, his left shoulder for one thing. It's too broad compared to his waist, er...rather it looks too extended to his left.
his bellybutton looks a bit too far to the right, making it seem like his body is twisted weirdly to his left.
But i like the face~ the eye to nose to mouth ratio looks rit, and his expression says a lot about his character.
It looks like u got the hang of laying down base colors, but u could develop it more by adding more shadows to create contrast. I see u attempted to add more shadows his lower clothing. Here a tip, instead of picking just a darker tone of the base, chose a different pallet color, like dark purple. and same for highlights, pick a pink-ish yellow shade instead of just a lighter red to give more color dynamic to the piece of clothing. and another tip, do not overuse dodge and burn cuz it lacks...well, life. U can use it for certain areas or for style but u need to learn the basics before can do those good stuff.
overall, it's common to not notice these details for a beginner so it's okay cuz u have to start somewhere to get somewhere. Just keep practicing and u'll definitely get better~ Try and do some still life cuz those r ur foundation. If u can get the hang of still life, then u can pretty much draw anything without references~
i'm sorry if i sound a bit harsh, i'm honest when it comes to critiques (and u did ask me to critique). Hope u learned something new.
