After so long i finally did papyrus draw of the dusttrust take
Tbh Daviduzzzzzz already did concepts of how papyrus would look and how would act but it needed draw but i am a lazy mf and didnt do the draw until now lol

In any case lets get into the lore again

Lore:

Overall it’s pretty similar to the original Dusttrust but there’s some minor changes.

The beginning goes like normal Swapdust, with Papyrus having nightmares of the human killing everyone and starting his genocide, however this time Sans also has nightmares but in his case about his own brother killing him.

He decides to brush these horrible nightmares off but still remains weary of his brother, until one day he wakes up from yet another nightmare and sees that Papyrus is gone.

He searches for his brother everywhere until he’s told of a monster going on a killing rampage in the village, Sans doesn’t want to believe it but deep inside he knew it was Papyrus, and he knew exactly where to find him.

He'd been hoping that he was wrong but he managed to find his bother in the exact spot where the 2 had fought in his nightmares, just before the old door at the start of Snowdin, finishing off some weak monsters until he noticed Sans was there.

Sans asked for an explanation to the madness that has been ensuing but Papyrus, caught against the wall, only told Sans to run away before it was too late, that he didn’t want to kill him too.

But Sans couldn’t run away, he knew Papyrus wouldn’t stop on his own and he wanted to help him snap out of his slaughter, so a fight between the two broke out…
Papyrus reluctantly attacked Sans, telling him to get away and let him do his job, but Sans stood his ground and tried to argue with Papyrus, make him realize what he’d been doing was wrong.

This back and forth went on, with both brothers not wanting to hurt each other, until Papyrus had enough and something in him snapped…

He was blinded by hatred for the human and now only saw Sans as another obstacle to overcome in order to become stronger, he started to attack his brother with full force, leaving Sans with no choice but to fight back, at least until he could get Papyrus to snap out of it once and for all.

The battle went on and on, with Papyrus dead set on the attack, until one accidental strong hit from Sans depleted all of Papyrus’s HP, decapitating him.

Sans was shocked at what he’d just done, he only wanted to weaken his brother to save him, he had no intent in killing him but now it was too late.

As Papyrus’s body faded to dust he snapped out of his madness and reassured Sans that everything was ok, even if he was sorry for what his brother’s fate would have been now, taking his place as a murderer.

Sans mourned Papyrus’s death, but his brother’s words on this “human” kept resonating in his mind until he turned around and saw them…

A human was standing right in front of him, covered in dust, showing off an evil grin.

Immediately, Sans knew this was who Papyrus was talking about and all the nightmares that had plagued his brother as well as him made sense all at once.

He teleported away, right before the human could strike him as well, and he began with the plan to finish his brother’s job himself…

Papyrus:

He had just started killing when Sans found him but had no intention of killing Sans, at least not yet.

He had taken great care in making sure Sans wouldn’t find out so soon so was very surprised when his brother knew exactly where to find him.

He tried hard to avoid hurting Sans but at one point he snapped due to stress and started to attack with full force.

This rage lasted until Sans accidentally killed him, at that moment he felt guilt for attacking and accepted his death.

Agony/Diabolical/Phantom Papyrus:

(He somehow edited his own reference sheet and added quotes, don't ask.)

This version of Papyrus would be somewhat resurrected due to Sans’s determination and would also gain some traits of Sans’s.

Would rarely take anything seriously, also to annoy Sans.

Obsessed with looking cool, he got Sans his new outfit for that.

Would keep pushing Sans on and on in moments of insecurity by telling him his goal is close and he needs to push forward.

Still normally talks in lowercase and either talks too much or too little, never in-between.

Would be mostly incorporeal but due to his stronger physical form before dying he can actually deal damage in battle, he would retain Sans’s damage stats though.

He doesn’t normally have glitches all over his body like SD Sans, he would only start to get them when Sans’s determination faulters and completely disappear if Sans loses all hope.

Couldn’t give less of a fuck about the human really, he only helps Sans in his quest because he wants to see him succeed.

Uses a smoking pipe he found in the trash.

Can literally detach his legs and float in the air like Dustbelief Sans, while his legs are detached he can still control them kind of like an RC car.

His head is also detachable and sometimes throws it around like a ball just cause.

Knows about other AUs (somehow) and makes references to them.
