I've given me an idea, I'll try something like the Battlestar Galactica, Viper launch tubes.

In the 'holes' I'm going to place bay doors,wait and see.
The gun platforms will be added after the panneling is finished, because I want to place a lot of defence weapons.
Wait and see the final result.

Are all those 'holes' on the end, launch tubes? That sure would be a super, duper fast way of launching fast fighters, if they were all launch tubes, like bullets from a rifle barrel. You could have a dozen or two in less than a minute.

And the bigger shuttles and craft from the 'side ports'. But... where are all the gun defences?
