I'm glad you appreciate it !

It was my first time shooting fireworks.
I knew there was going to be a good fireworks near ma place and I wanted to shoot it.
So I did a quick search on the net and stumbled on that video : [link]

The dude and his funky mustaches explains his way which is : 100iso (~noiseless), f/11 (to be sure to have it focused), and 2sec exposure (so you can get the trails).
Start your exposure when the thing (sorry, I'm french, little vocabulary problem) gets off the ground and you shoud get the whole thing.

After that, I stacked 21 of my shots in a smart object in photoshop and used a "Maximum" stack mode (so the bright parts of the pictures come out on the dark parts)

If you don't have the possibility to do that, experiment ! Google can be useful too ! ^^

Thanks; that actually helps a lot. I'm kicking myself for not thinking about blending modes to help merge firworks together.

I'm gonna watch some more tutorials when i get the chance, and prepare for November 5. Thanks.

P.S - Which Photoshop do you use?
