Religious Beliefs: Being raised without many morals forced upon her, Tappelle is, for the most part, unsure of her beliefs. She does believe that the three gods exist. She appreciates and admires Ytelse the most of the three deities, and believes that the she-cat is responsible for scattering the Lost Objects in attempt to save the mortal world.

+ Loyal
  Once you have Tappelle on your side, she will never leave it. She will fiercely defend anything and everything she stands for, through thick and thin.
+ Quick-Thinking
  Tappelle is very clever, and uses her wits to make up for what she lacks physically. She sees the big picture of situations, and this allows her to derive the best, most effective tactics when approaching these situations.
= Serious
  Tappelle does not busy herself with jokes or tomfoolery. While this does not make her popular in social standings, it does allow her to stay focussed and complete whatever tasks are at hand.
= Hardworking
  Tappelle never got anything handed to her growing up. She was forced to work for whatever she wanted. She is now a firm believer that you will earn whatever you put into something. If she starts a task, you better believe that she'll finish it. The downside to this trait is that Tappelle may, at times, overload herself. She sometimes pushes herself so hard that it can take her a while to recover.

  Tappelle does not enjoy getting together with other cats just to chat or make fun. She sees it as a pointless waste of time. This means she does not easily form alliances (let alone other relationships) and can often be found alone.

History
Pre-Birth: Stone & Birch
  Stone was a notable sentry in the tribe. He was dark-furred and gruff, and tended to keep to himself. When most cats had gone off and found mates he remained alone. Determined to carry on his bloodline, Stone set out to find a mateless female in the tribe and have her bear his kits no matter what it would take. His search led him to Birch, a pale, spotted she-cat who was dainty, yet easily manipulated. Before long she was carrying Stone's kits.
  Unfortunately for Birch, Stone was not yet finished with the quest he had set out on. Once he was certain that Birch would be bearing his kits, he was quick to let her know about his original intentions. Upon breaking this news to her, Stone ended their mateship and left to find another victim to fulfill this quest of his.
  Devastated, Birch mourned for weeks. By this time, her belly was swollen to the point where she had to spend most of her time resting in her den. She spent this idle time grieving over the loss of her mate and wholeheartedly regretting her pregnancy. She found herself wishing the kittens would somehow not survive, would somehow reverse their growth and disappear, would somehow not happen. It was Birch's feelings of overwhelming remorse that caused Tappelle's birth name: Rue.

Kithood: Rue
  Birch gave birth to a single kitten. Unfortunately for the little female, this would mean that all of Birch's hate for Stone and her pregnancy would be exerted unto the one kitten alone. This expression of hate began when Birch first referred to her as "Rue".
  It was custom for mothers to refer to kittens by physical appearance, so Birch often received snarky glares from other mothers whenever she called the kitten "Rue"(Both for the meaning behind the name, as well as the breaking of the rule). For Birch, her "excuse" was that she simply called the kitten by what she saw whenever she looked at the dark brown female: pure hate, regret, and remorse.
  Rue never truly felt the loving comfort of a mother that most other kittens did. Whenever she tried to play with the other kittens, their mothers would usher them away whispering things like, "we don't play with her, dear". Birch didn't mind this. In truth, she wanted the worst for this kitten. Rue would forever be a reminder to Birch of the stupid decisions she made.
  Confused and constantly let-down, Rue developed a shell. If other kittens didn't want to play with her? Fine. She didn't want to play with them either. She would go and play her own games. If her father wouldn't bring her prey-treats or play-fight with her like the other kittens? Fine. She would start practicing her hunting and fighting on her own. The neglect that Rue experienced as a kitten largely contributed to some of the major personality traits she expresses now.

Underling: T
  After months of being ignored and uncared for, Rue was eager and slightly ambitious to become an underling. She was determined to train harder and become better than the other trainees in order to prove herself-- not only to her parents and the rest of the cats who doubted her, but also to herself as well. With the new identity of 'T', she put a new foot forward and didn't look back.
  T's mentor, Carvell, was a skilled sentry who had experience as a mentor in the past. He did not give T special treatment because of her kithood, and trained her as hard as any cat who had come from a more supportive background. Regardless of this equalist approach, Carvell soon found himself becoming closely bonded with T as a father would be with his own kit. He was impressed with her determination, and helped her refine her raw skills so that she did not misjudge her own strength when facing enemies. He taught her that using your wits was just as important -- if not more -- as using sheer power. He helped her develop techniques that would allow her to take down big enemies despite her small size.
  As T became more and more skilled, she and Carvell became more and more close. When it came time for T to be officially promoted to an adult rank, Carvell discussed with her that he would like her to take a name similar to his. T was delighted with this idea. It was decided that she would be called "Tapelle", a name that held the same background as Carvell's as well as sounded quite similar. Soon Tapelle was defending the Tribe alongside her former mentor with the new title of "sentry".

  Following her promotion, Tappelle spent several months fighting and defending alongside her one best friend, Carvell. She finally felt as though she had succeeded in proving her parents wrong. Things were really looking up for her.
  When Tappelle was two and a half, hard news struck her: Carvell had been killed while on a scouting mission in the Beast's Realm. Tappelle was devastated.
  With her only friend gone, Tappelle fell into the anti-social, negative shell that she maintains to this day. She isn't quite ready to develop other relationships or friendships any time soon, and most of the Tribe understands and respects this.
