Do you ever feel like deep down inside, you feel and do things you know are stupid, dumb, or wrong? :U that's.. me LOLThere's always this inner part of myself that I consider .. bad? I don't wanna say evil because it's too strong of a word; But yeah I know there are people out there who are constantly fighting with their own inner conflicts and end up tiring themselves.
fun fact - this will probably be the last picture i draw of myself with long hair

I can sympathize with what you feel. I learned that we all have different sides to our personalities. And we may even be born with alter egos or the alter ego can be developed. This is a good point made in this drawing. I like it a lot.

A very good artwork, showing your described theme. We have many facets of our personality and also the darker ones are a part of it. That is the human condition, however, expressing this rupture through a picture is, in my view, also a good method to keep your inner world in balance and assure this darker side wont get the upper hand.

Humans subconsciously crave conflict. I have the same problem. It's the using of it well as opposed to suppressing it or, god forbid, surrendering to it (the classic "douchebag")

I...I feel like this a lot too...Even when I KNOW it's wrong, I still end up doing it...
And I get mad at myself for doing it later. It's stressful and tiring to fight your inner demons and temptations sometimes without the support of others, y'know?

Love the meaning in this, and yeah I get what you mean. I think we all have a bad side inside us all which we must fight against, like, we have to subdue weird urges to do something wrong. Not evil as you say, but wrong. After all, we are all just humans. None of us is perfect.

Everyone has that inner self. It's all the parts of you that you neglect or repress.
You may neglect your impulsive risky side causing you to have the occasional daring thought to do something stupid or you may repress your loving kind and nurturing side and become a heartless fool.
I had read somewhere that the path to enlightenment required a balance of both your inner and outer selves.
To not neglect those darker thoughts- yet not entertain them, but to sate them in a more beneficial way.
Say for example, when downtrodden or mopey, often I'll do crafts or something requiring the destruction of something (i.e. cutting construction paper) Then to help sate my nurturing side I'll make something out of the same construction paper.
I'd rather do something like this and benefit from it instead of causing detrimental damage to others by taking out my frustrations or spontaneity by harming people or objects or etc.
That aside, awesome work. I really like how you depicted your Shadow Self- as I like to call ones inner being- holding your heart.

To quote an episode of TOS Star Trek (my username is taken from an entirely different episode, btw), it's "The Enemy Within." My version of this fellow, however, is much scarier than yours.... and I don't say that with pride. >_>;
I'd bore you with a story of how I've been fighting this bastard for over a decade, but I will cease and desist. I might suggest taking a look at that episode of Star Trek (though somehow I doubt Star Trek would interest you)..... perhaps just reading over a synopsis?
OK, enough of my babbling..... I like your picture, it illustrates this concept almost perfectly. ^_^
