A little animated Beekin I did as part of my Pixel application. :3 Hopefully I get in!I just need a bunch of other items that I can turn in now. I'm working on a banyon tree and the trunk is perfect, but the leaves are getting me down. :<

If they're getting you down, you can always rake them up and put 'em in a bag. Then attach them to the tree via gorilla glue.

This is just the sort of thing that should go in a pixel app. Pixel applications need to include lots of items and patches, people often go heavy on the ports but light on the patches, and no matter how stunningly gorgeous the ports are, it's not enough!

There's a fantastic difference between drawing characters and drawing backgrounds as well! Most of the people I went to school with were fantastic with drawing the human body, but when it came down to drawing plants, a lot of them were stumped.
Do you have any suggestions on items I can put together for the application? :3 I've been making little things all day but I can't think of any random items aside from the stuff that's on my desk.

One thing I'd like to see on more applications is scenes, where a number of objects are showcased in how they work together. It doesn't have to be a whole dream, just a game screen-sized room that's decked out in walls, floors and objects would be stellar. Pick any theme like farm or harem or beach or library or bedroom or really anything at all that strikes your fancy, then put a tiny scene together for it and take a screenshot to include along with your .fox files. Pay particular attention to correct isometric perspective, or as correct as you know how to get it at this stage.
Of course, that's not at all required, it would just be my suggestion if you're looking for something to put together.
