Just a "what if?" pic...I wanted to see how Nozomi would look if her inner demon succeeded in fully possessing her...This pic and the words on it won't make any sense to you if you haven't read my latest one shot x3Err...this was done at 1-2 in the morning (or something like that)...so ignore the crappiness of the hands and feet...
The eyes in the top left hand corner are her demonic eyes when they're fully developed...and in the smaller version of her eyes they're not yet developed, and she's crying if you can't tell...
There's no better character than Nozomi to draw when you're angry/depressed/etc..xD
Crappy shading is very crappy, yes :3

I said this on the forum but it's a great picture. Emotional, slightly depressing stuff like this is great to draw because it holds so much meaning. Love the pic, and nice shading! Actually the hands and feet are drawn well! Good job.

I love shading! I've gotten a lot better with it in the past few months, and I've realized that if you just take the time to shade, it makes the whole picture look better!

I'm really glad to hear it! I'm always trying hard to get better at the things I love, and it puts a smile on my face whenever I find I got even a little bit better than I was before ^^

Thank you! xD I used to just not shade because it confused me, or I'd put shadows in the wrong places.
I've had art class before, but the teacher didn't really teach us anything. Also I was a teacher's pet, so he often just let me do whatever I wanted. O.o Therefore, I didn't really learn anything. I look at other manga/anime style pictures and try to understand how the clothing hangs off the body in different positions and stuff like that, as well as where shadows would go according to the location of the light source.

ZOMG...it's too bad we can't actually be friends IRL owo Cause I have all these books from my art school lessons (and it's a famous school, where the creator of Charlie Brown and the peanuts gang learned) and I'd totally lend em to you...they're what helped me learn x33 But using anime/manga as a way of learning, that's a pretty good method =3

Well, I do have one book that's 'More How to Draw Manga Vol. 4' and my friend IRL has the same one plus several more. Thanks! I guess it's just that I can't really "learn" how to draw something, I just have to "know", if that makes any sense. O.o Looking at the finished product is easier than step-by-step, for me. So I guess that's what I mean. O.o

That makes sense to me, a lot. There are people who teach themselves things with books, and then there are people who just "know" where to put things...maybe a gut instinct or something. Either way there are all types ^^

Oh yeah, I know how you feel, venting out feelings into art!! I always do it... Sometimes I think I get a bit too expressive and my drawings and poems/stories make no sense. Sometimes I even forget what I was so mad/upset about!! XDDDD

Yeah, art is my way of venting half the time...otherwise I end up yelling at people, which can be scary...^w^; I sometimes get like that, too...I'll vent so much I forget what upset me...but that's not the case here...I'm still bummed...so there may be another vent piece soon or...something XD
