I just felt like drawing Marth. And seeing a bunch of new shots with his lovely self made me want to catch him again, even more. Also, like with Chrom, I wanted to have a more updated reference art for this prince-- you know, with better form and not drawn on a very skinny table in my Lab Building like the last one. So, compared to my last ref-pic, this one I think is definitely better.
*phew* Can't mess up that bishie, right? That's a crime in itself!
O'course, his new foofy hair will often be troubling for me since I don't wanna make his head too big or too off, at least I think I got the lightness of his hair right this time too. And I want to pet it.
And now that's out of the way-- *strokes Marth's hair mentally*-- I am back to being on the brink of drawing-focus-massacre.
Why is it this time the recent newcomers keep making my brain burn-out to the point where I can't draw anything straight?
Actually, I should blame myself and my constant playing Mabinogi as of late.
Fuu~ Well, I've got another thing I wanted to draw after this, so I hope I can keep steady on it before my brain goes ka-jumble once again.
Fufu~ Oh yeah, after drawing this, I looked at Marth-n-Chrom's drawings side-to-side and noticed how different they're feet look. Ah, family~

I think Marth isn't ready to be called a King since he be still a shy kid at heart ^-^ and will like being called a prince cause he still act so kind and sweet to his friends family and his kingdom ^-^ lovely picture I just love your art work

Well, royalty waits for no one, even if they're not emotional ready. In his game's end, Marth is given the throne to his kingdom after his father's death. I dunno how timing works, but at this point Marth could be considered a crown king, which is another word for half-way there sort of stuff.
But regardless, Marth will always be our lovely, gentle royal-- prince or king, yeah?

You know, I have to agree with ya on this looking better - I guess it's due Marth giving out more emotion, that kind of "anxious shy" - but that's not to say that reserved pic didn't look too bad either. There he had that sense of reserved coolness to it.

Yep, if anything, when drawing expressions for Marth I have to be super-duper-dee-uber careful with his eyes (or eye, since I cover the other with his bangs for some preference reasons) because they really capture his emotions the most from his lovely face. My first try was on a really bad table and I didn't have a stable spot to draw-- so I'm not surprised this one turned out much better.
Goshers, he's so delicate that I can mess him over by one mistake in-detail. I'm sorry, sire...! ( ; C; )
