Description
You waited eagerly for Sebastian,but after several minutes of running,you didn't see him. You reached a old building,as Claude shut the door.

"Miss,I need your soul."He said."I'm low on power,and the longer I go without a soul,the weaker I become. Sebastian has had plently of souls,and is far from hunger."

You went for the door,but Claude blocked it."Is Sebastian here yet? No,he isn't."

You tried to push past him,but he prevented you.

"Why won't you just comply,(y/n)?"He said,his face closing in on yours. You screeched,kicking him in the crotch and running for the door. He dropped,as you realized he'd locked the door while he'd been standing by it. You felt two strong hands grip you,and they dragged you to a wall. Claude had trapped you.

"There's no way out now,(y/n)."He said,grabbing your throat and inching your face closer to his. A red blush formed on your face from embarrasment,and your strength couldn't get you away from him. The most feared happened as Sebastian kicked down the door. He looked different. His shadow was much larger than it was supposed to be,and his eyes were glowing pink. And they glowed even more pink when he caught sight of you.

"Claude,Didn't I tell you to keep away from my stuff?"Said Sebastian,with a grin.Almost instantly,the floor started shaking,and you fell to your knees. Claude caught you under you arms,picking you up and bringing you to the roof of the old building.

"Any last words,(y/n)?"Said Claude, a pink in his eyes. You could feel your soul seeping away,and suddenly fell limp in his arms.

>>Sebastian POV<<

I got to the roof to late. I could see (y/n)'s limp body in his arms. It was obvious what he'd done,and I was angered by it.

"Breaking demon law Claude?"I said,my eyes darting to his face.

"It serves you write for lusting after a human."Said Claude,picking up one of her arms,gently biting into it with demon fangs.

I clenched my fists,"I-I never liked her in the first place." I forced myself to say.

"Oh,is that so?"Claude chuckled,"You wouldn't mind me kissing her again? Oh yes,i've already kissed her. Which means you're not the only one who's kissed her,Sebastian."

I clenched my fists,torn. I'd be breaking demon law if I let him do this,but if I did i'd probably go into so much rage i'd kill the both of them."You stole my meal,Claude. I'm not preparing to let your grubby hands keep it any longer."

"Oh,I do feel sorry for you Sebastian. It's much more tastier,even more than Ciel's."Claude said.

I broke the roof accidentally,my anger spurring me to do so as my fist broke most of the building and into the ground. I snatched (y/n) out of his arms. Her body was lifeless,and I held her tightly towards me as I continued to fight.

"Sebastian,you won't win this."Said Claude with a grin. I grinned back,uppercutting him in the chin,causing blood to rush from his mouth. I grinned,and attempted to get her soul back. There was only one way,and that was getting the essence from his mind of her into an object. Concentrating,I focused on (y/n). I thought long and hard as Claude regained his posture,as he tried to fight me off. Pulling out a Obsidian ring,I clenched it in my fist as hard as I could before kicking Claude to the ground,and running with (y/n) in my arms and the ring in my hand into the forest,back to our manor.

Along the way,I gave myself time to think. Looking at her face,I didn't feel the longing for her soul like most of my other masters. She was genuinely beautiful,and unlike most humans,I strangely felt more of a bond extending from the master-butler relationship. She had a dark past yet her soul remained pure. I also felt intense anger knowing that excuse of a demon wanted her soul too. Almost Jealousy.

When we got back to the manor, I slowly put the ring on her finger. I lay her on a settee delicately. Awaiting her response, I eagerly waited for her eyes to flutter open. After a few minutes,her eyes opened to a red color.

"Miss,you're awake."I said relieved.

You opened your eyes to see him staring back at you.

"My soul..."Was what you could only think about as you stuttered the words.

"I retrieved it in this ring. That filthy demon got his hands on it for a few minutes."He said,anger burning in his eyes.

"You shouldn't be so possessive over my soul,Sebastian." You said,sighing. "There are others,and i'm not a special master. One day my soul WILL get eaten,and you'll forget about me soon after."

"That's where you're wrong,miss."He said,"A demon does not forget their masters. And I have to be possessive,because you have a special soul."

You sighed,sitting up."What makes it so special?"

"Your past hasn't tainted your personality. Many of my previous masters were bitter and wanted to rip those whom they hated to shreds,but you just want to drive them insane physiologically. Yet,the evilness under your skin hasn't tainted your soul." Said Sebastian,taking your hand and assessing it.

You blushed as you watched Sebastian gaze at your hand. Catching sight of the bite marks,which were still healing,his eyes glowed with anger.

"Why are your eyes like that?"You said,before mentally smacking yourself. You'd always wondered why his eyes got like that,but it was obvious.

"Like humans,our emotions are seen through our eyes. Mainly through our eye color and how bright or dark the shade is. The brighter the shade,the more the feeling."He said,placing a hand on your hand.

"So,all the times I was hurt,in danger or sad,your eyes were like that because..."You realized.

"It was merely your soul."He said,When you are sad or in danger,I have to get you out of danger."

Your eyes trailed off."Oh,"You said,disheartened."What are your eyes like when you're in love?"

"Well,miss. For one,Demon's can't love to human extent,not that i've realized."He said,smiling."But when it's close to that,their eyes can't go fully pink. Instead,the color of their eyes will increase in intensity. For example,my eye is maroon colored. But after,my eyes will go a brighter shade of red,but not pink like they usually do."

You nodded."Why can't you love to that extent? Can I even?"

"We both cannot. Although your genetic code is much more similar to humans,you do not feel human feelings as well as humans do. And demons? Even less. Only in a few documented cases have demons loved. I knew one named Hannah,who possessed a motherly love for a human soul. It drove her to her death soon after."

"So that's why demons don't love?"You asked.

"We can,but we've been prevented from loving because of the few who've wrecked their lives due to it."Explained Sebastian.

"I hope I can find love one day."You sighed. You knew clear and well Sebastian didn't get the hint you were confessing to him,and that it was only the soul he saw.

"You may,miss. Non-humans who take human form tend to be very attractive."Said Sebastian.

"So,this isn't my true form?"You said,startled.

"God heavens no. Like demons,you have a form which represents your inner personality. I couldn't bear to show you mine as you may not like it."Said Sebastian.

"There's no use,Sebastian. Why won't I like it? Are you afraid of tainting your butler imagine?"You shot back.

"Yes,I am sorry miss."He said.

You sighed,admiring the pots in the decorative room you were in."Where is Lilith?"

"I don't know,and I don't want to see her."He said,sighing.

"Why?"You questioned.

"Her soul is too impure for me. The killings she did repulsed me,"Said Sebastian,"Her jealousy got the best of her. And she tried to kill you."

"If you don't want to see her,why did you keep on seeing her before?"You sighed.

"Because I was startled. I don't think i'll ever love again,since the one opportunity I got was wasted on her. I don't know if i'll ever get it back."

Your eyes relaxed with sadness."O-oh,okay."You stuttered,the phrase shattering your heart.

"Why do you seem so disheartened,miss?"Asked Sebastian,before a grin grew on his face.

"It's nothing,Sebastian. Just thinking back to my past."You said,sighing.You wiped your eyes. It was pretty obvious now it was never meant to be - and never will be.

"You're not -" He smiled again. You walked away,before being enveloped in a warm hug as Sebastian hugged you from behind,his hands knit around your stomach.

You were taken aback."You said you didn't have feelings,so why are you hugging me?"

"I can atleast try."He said,"You honestly didn't think I wasn't trying?"

"But,you said you may never love again?"You said."Are you saying this to make me feel better? I know i'm just a soul to you,but i'm not stupid."

"I've been trying. Did you see I was jealous when that demon kissed you? I'm afraid to kiss you even now."He admitted.

"You were just jealous because we were together."You sighed.

Sebastian sighed."I don't know what love is. I may have never felt it,or this may be as much love as I can get. I'm clueless at the moment. This love isn't even allowed,and i'm pretty sure we'll get caught out in no time."

"They can try,but they can only separate us after the contract."You said.

"They probably awoke Claude to get inbetween us."Concluded Sebastian.

"That seems possible."You admitted."Then again,why should they be concerned? You don't seem like the type to destroy something."

"You'd like to think that,wouldn't you?"He chuckled."I had to hold myself back from killing Claude and almost you when I found you two in the old building. I would of certainly caused an abyss to open up."

You smiled.

"My primary motive is to keep you safe,along with your soul." He said,spinning you into a hug again.

You smiled,hugging him back.

I made my way to the Demon council. In front of me,13 hooded men stood before me.

"You failed us,Claude. You need to get them far apart from each other as quickly as possible. We don't want him destroying everything."

"Yes,masters."I said,bowing,my eyes glowing."And after,may I have the girls soul?"

"Do as you please."One of them said,beckoning me out. I wanted her soul,and to get my sweet revenge on Sebastian.
