Ok, so Mermaid Melody is my new obsession. 'Nuff said. I love my little Lydia! I sketched her out, went over her in bold and then scanned her before simply coloring her in on MS Paint. I know her hair isn't really long enough for a Mermaid, but I have a perfectly good explanation. When I've finished my Tokyo Mew Mew stories, I might make a Mermaid Melody one! What'cha think? Anywho, here's a little profile of her:

Name: Lydia Maidstone.
Nationality: English.
Age: 13.
Birthday: August 1st.
Pearl color: Red (Crimson).
Mermaid genes inheritance: Her father was a Merman, more specificly, the King of the Bermuda Triangle (Making Lydia the Princess). Her mother was a mere Human, who fell in love with a Merman, and there's a story to Lydia's birth that I'll write in the pending story.
Mermaid hair color: Light moose brown
Mermaid eye color: Deep red.
Human hair color: A slightly darker shade of brown than her Mermaid form.
Human eye color: Brown.

She's a rebelious child, who's really just trying to find a place in this world. But until her 13th birthday, she had no idea how special she really was. She loves her friends, but once pissed off she can be as destructive as a hurricane. She likes to blame her sudden moods on periods, even if it's not that time of the month. Deep down she has a kind heart, but this isn't shown very well. Being nicknamed 'Princess of Lost Flights' doesn't help, either. This nickname came about from being the Mermaid Princess of the Bermuda Triangle. Do I really need to explain? She tends to bottle her feelings up but sometimes in a spur of the moment she lets all hell lose and spills every thought stored. She had a bad childhood in the Human world when she didn't know much about herself, so her behaviour can be understood. Sort of.

I don't own Mermaid Melody, I only own Lydia.
