Amethyst is Keith and Lance's third kid, and 26 years old.
And I feel the need to point out I had her skin and hair color waaay before Lotor's "reveal" so there's no connection between the two

She's the smallest and most fragile out of all the siblings. It's because when Keith was pregnant with her, he was infected with a deadly virus, that almost killed them both, but the team managed to save them by amplifying Keith's galra genes' dominance, since Galra are genetically much more resistant to most space diseases (my personal headcanon, since the unvierse is probably full of bunch of nasty diseases and the Galra dominated the universe for like 10.000 years, they eventually adapted and became resistant). That's also the reason why Keith has a much more Galra look when he's grown up, and their kids from now on has more Galra traits in them as well.
(Haha, yes I know jackshit about genetics let me bluff in peace >.>)
But back to the virus, even though they managed to save Keith's life, it was still a big chance Amethyst won't survive because she was effected by both the virus and the genetic change. In the end she was born, but she was really small and weak in the next 1-2 years there was still a chance of her dying, but she pulled through. However even in the present day, her immune system is really weak, and she's pretty sickly.
Also yes, her white hair is also the result of the whole ordeal, if she was healthy, she would have dark purple hair.
Since she was always so weak and sickly, she pretty much grew up in a bubble, she wasn't allowed to go out much, which she didn't really mind to be honest. She always prefered to keep to herself and observe things from distance. Even when she likes to have company it's only a few people she personally likes to have around and already know. She always looked up to Allura and wanted to be like her when she grew up in terms of leadership qualities. She used to spend most of her time on the bridge with Allura and Coran learning about the castle and how to control it. She's a battleship commander in the present day.
She's a very quick learner, perhaps one of the three smartest kids out of her siblings. Though her knowledge is much more theoretical than practical. She's also stubborn, gritty and straightforward, she knows what she wants and she's not here nor doen't have the time to deal with anyone's nonsense.

I think that's pretty much it of her for now, it's getting late and I should go to sleep... why do I always upload stuff so late?
