Now Grace was really all alone with these 'nightmares',
and she was started to understand why they were named that way.
Long forked tongues were darting out of their mouth and running
along her muzzle. She was scared. But she couldn't back down now.
"Say, can I eat her?" the right one said.
"-Don't you dare, she's mine, she wants to talk to me in the first place.
right sweetheart?" The middle one said.
"-You girls are going to get in trouble." The left one said before walking
away on his own.
"-Don't say anything to Grand mother, dad!" The middle one said again.
With no response. The mare clicked her tongue over her teeth and somehow
sparks and flames appeared around her lips, making Grace back off in surprise.
"You are a nordanner, right sweetheart? You shouldn't be scared of some
flames you know, you are supposed to be able to fight dragons... Ah I know.
If you can stand my flames and touch me with your muzzle I will take back
what I said about your dear brother. Are you up for it?"
Grace looked up at the mare, she was a nordanner, she was supposed to
fight dragons, she was the only one able to defend her brother's honor.
"-I'll do it!"
"-Well said sweetheart." The mare replied before wings spread out of her
back and her horns changed shape.
She was really facing a dragon.
