Abilities:
-Armored shelled, which is capable of allowing Anguirus to roll up into a spiked ball.
-Sonic Roar, which is capable of temporarily blinding anybody from concentrating properly.
-Agile speed on all fours, but also capable of fighting in an upright stance.
-Extreme hearing, which allow him to hear across miles on end.
Information:

1955 is the first known sighting of Anguirus, who is considered at times to be Godzilla's primary rival. As time went on, though, both Anguirus, and another Kaiju named Rodan, were often called the "Best Bud Kaiju", since both of them are considered to be Godzilla's most loyal allies in battle against evil forces. Anguirus's loyalty and friendship with Godzilla is matched by no other Kaiju, not even Rodan. Whenever Godzilla is in a fight with more than one Kaiju, Anguirus is usually always by his side.

Anguirus's abilities are not any significant compared to other Kaiju, but that doesn't hinder Anguirus at all, nor does it hinder Godzilla. Due to the way both of them team up, they usually rely on each other to survive battles with numerous monsters. Initially, despite their current friendship, Godzilla and Anguirus originally didn't get along all too well. Their original confrontation in 1955 was proof of this early behavior. Even then, as Godzilla's aggression began to mellow out due to lack of activity on Monster Island, Anguirus was also becoming a bit lazier as well, often snoozing during most of the day. However, then a certain incident began in modern day.

In 2014, a mysterious Monster has been rumored to have been attacking Japan and solely Japan. Anguirus, due to his incredible hearing, was able to detect the monster's presence. However, due to how he detected it, it was apparently a monster similar to Godzilla, but yet all these years, Godzilla has never wondered off any further than the volcano on Monster Island. Rodan was able to confirm this as well, since the barriers on the islands were still active. That is, until, the barriers just then de-activated with every Kaiju on Monster Island allowed to escape, and due to Godzilla's current rest, Anguirus ordered Rodan to investigate, as Anguirus would work on waking Godzilla up, hoping he wouldn't end up waking up essentially a grumpy bear of a Kaiju...

-Anguirus for the most part if based on his Showa Design, but with the rolling attack of his Millenium Era design.
