Description Concept:

In a nushell, the series can effectively be described as "Power Rangers meets Mega Man", especially with how Kerason's design looks when in battle.

Believe me folks, since is a character concept I'd had since the late 90s when I was still at least 5-6 years old and heavily into Power Rangers even more so than I currently am (Nowadays I typically favor Super Sentai but it doesn't make much of a difference in most cases). As for some drafts of this character, early references I had put him at around 9/10 years old, and his transformation trinket is a sentient alien forced into a shape he's not used to being, and to move around, he relies on Plio Kenson as KeraBeast basically acts as a wrist communicator once Plio begins tinkering with some of his own electronics. As a result, now he's a Henshin Hero type of fighter against a bunch of aliens that seek out KeraBeast's powers, and Plio and KeraBeast both have to fend them off as Kerason and their Master Mode form known as KeraMaster, which is designed for larger targets.

What I plan to do with these two characters is make a comic about them after nearly 15 long years of them having been BEGGING for me to make up to date designs for them both and to make their concepts into an actual story.

Pilot Episode Summary:

Edit: Removed the old draft. As you can probably notice, I've either scratched out or removed bios that were no longer the final draft of either characterizations or storylines, so, with that said, the pilot is being slightly reworked, though some main bits from the old one stay the same.

Design Notes:
-With the revelation of Plio and KeraBeast's existences, these two are now officially he oldest OC designs I currently have, displacing Ghost Raptor by a good 8-9 years.
-Kerason is the a combination of the original Blue Ranger, the Blue Turbo Ranger (Obviously), the Blue Dino Ranger, and Star Force Mega Man, though for once I actually DID design KeraBeast as a separate entity from Plio since I didn't have any actual origin for how Plio gets his powers as Kerason, and given the terrible treatment that Capcom has given to Mega Man over the years, I decided to make KeraBeast based on Omega-Xis in how he's part of Plio's wardrobe, with bits of the Omnitrix now that he's effectively stuck to Plio's wrist after the pilot as a deliberate choice on his part.
-No surviving data or witnesses on the villain's half to confirm the current whereabouts of KeraBeast, Plio, or his family. All the data got destroyed when Pterazok and Tyrannox got killed, and the foot soldiers perished as well, and the fact Tyrannox chose to combine with one of their best ships as a last ditch effort, the whole secret identity with Plio will actually be able to work, since not only is that all set up, but Plio's mods to KeraBeast basically put him off radar, so KeraBeast can no longer be tracked as easily as he initially was when the chase for him began.
-Both of Plio's parents are present for the series, and both of them learning of Kerason's identity as early as the pilot was all part of the plan to avoid typical cliches regarding Superheroes, and the fact that both of his parents being present means no "Disappeared Dad" or "Missing Mom" trope is in effect for Plio's family.
-While several Super Sentei mecha rank in at 22+ meters in height, they more accurately look like 100 meter tall colossal robots by comparison to everything else around them. Daijinryuu, whose charts say its 345 meters or so in height, looks more closer in the kilometers in height. As such, KeraMaster and several other aliens villains that go up against it are not that big looking when compared the surrounding buildings... but that by no means makes them incapable of completely leveling entire districts if they had the ability to do so.
-The tank treads on KeraMaster's arms are reminders of a few ditched concepts for it's design, and also function as the bastard fusions of blunt weaponry and Gigan's buzzsaw weapon, meaning KeraMaster's arms are fully capable of dishing out absolute pain to a villain, which is what forced Tyrannox to such extreme measures to counter him; Tyrannox actually doesn't initially transform with his ship until a good minute into the battle, since Tyrannox is initially doubtful of KeraMaster's actual powers, which is quickly proven wrong by promptly being trampled like no tomorrow.
-KeraBeast as battle mode is basically a huge ass mace-like hand for Kerason to wield in battle. It's also bundled with twin jet boosters to give Kerason an edge on speed and agility to make up for how massive this mode is compared to Plio's own size.
-In case it wasn't obvious before, KeraMaster is a partial biped in terms of movements and battle style. Heck, even the villains share similar stances regardless of what species of Dinosaur or prehistoric Mesozoic Reptile they're based on.

This is a pretty cool design, I like how KeraMaster's design looks like a homage to the triceratops from MMPR.
