This is really Kick Ass!!!! I love the lighting and the composition. How did you get the side stroke near the feet without bending over and ruining the body its self?

i would really love an explanation on how the arm has been effect throughout the picture but the rest of the body seems to have not moved an inch

gorgeous strobe work - i love that the beautiful subtle tonal variations didn't get washed out or lost in the shadows

Whoa, this is very impressive, especially for someone like me who hasn't seen strobe photography before. The arc of the moving hands is beautiful, and the lighting of the other parts of her body fits perfectly.

How you did it?

Mfenberg In reply to Digital-Rhapsody [2005-06-01 06:26:28 +0000 UTC]
well just like lightpainting .. but with a strobe.. it was just a canon 550EX on Multi-mode.. set to about 4 Hz.. Ok well its not quite that simple.. I had the model hold her start position an I covered her arms in a black drape ... then I strobed that.. then I covered her body with a drape a left only her arms and head be out.. then I strobed the movement with the 4 Hz strobe..
