Hastily-thrown-together doodle, but still view-worthy, I guess? :]The story behind the pic: Proto got hurt (badly) to help Mega (as usual) and the Light Twins repair him in their father's Lab.
Mega feels guilty, the poor thing. D:
Roll feels sorry that both her fav brothers are in pain. D: D:
Proto... he manages.
In all honesty, that was mainly an excuse to draw:
a) human-body muscles
b) mechanical body-parts
c) arrays of cables and odd equipments in the bkg
which is a stress-relif like nothing ELSE.

*laughs* I can't honestly say the resemblance was on purpose, since I've yet to see the movie (which is a shame). But now I've got even more reasons to see it! My rendition of Protoman looks like the actual movie's actor? That's such a coincidence!

at the moment, I'm a pretty slow worker to. But I can still beat out a portrait in about 2 hours or so. Give or take.

Well, that's amazing!
The quickest thing I've done lately, it's a CG-painting with three characters, and very "bare" background. And it still took me the whole afternoon.

I'm glad you think it's amazing. I know some people who can get out more detail in that time frame. My drawing of Storm Eagle is a good example of what I can do in about 2 hours undisturbed. (mostly)

In "robotic" sketches, I basically just "go with the flow", adding random cables and panels and odd-looking machineries and stuff behind the android/robot. Sometimes it works great, but sometimes... *hangs head*
