My journey started with these two adorable little critters and I have no regrets sticking with them in the end.note: Just to let you know, while Mudkip is my favorite starter Pokemon in ORAS, Ralts is literally the first Pokemon that I encounter in the wild and the chances of that in the beginning of my journey is 1000 to 1, not to mention that Ralts is a female.Β

The Ralts family is one of my favs - they're one of the most solid Pokemon families competitively, and their designs and lore are amazing. You are super lucky to encounter Ralts first. Stuff like that doesn't happen every day.

Wait, how was Ralts the first wild pokemon (other than the dog attacking the professor) you encountered? Did you have repels at the start of the game as to not trigger any tall grass encounters on route 101 until until you reached route 102?

The strange thing is, during the game, I have no encounters in the grass when I was just progressing the story. I thought my game glitched out and I had to replace it with a new one, but when I got to this particular location where ralts are located Β the encounters just fixed itself. I can't really say what is wrong with it but that's exactly what happened.

And I've never replaced her since her capture

Ralts is the first pokemon I got when I first played emerald but I never chooses mudkip as a starter don't know why....oh um great art by the way they both look adorable and this brings back some happy memories
