Smexiness aside, how do you shade?! What program do you use? My soft shading is terrible, and this looks so natural... *cue the inferiority complex*

I actually drew and shaded it with pencile then i scaned it and i just smudged it then went over it with light paint brush then more smudging i used gimp 2

I really love the shading on this...
and it's not really because of the person being Sasuke, but it's the anatomy of it. Do you use any reference anatomy sites for these? If so, throw them my way. I can't draw people, but I want to be able to do so pretty well.
