The hair as opposite to black marks brings nice balance. The contrast between black marks, skin beneath and in turn black background highlight the marks on skin effectively. And those eyes.. amazing still.

Love the cold stare, piercing icy blue eyes, the hint of tension in the left cheek and the lined lips. I like that the hair is on the opposite side of the black marks hinting of violence and anger. She looks like she is more than ready to face her antagonist. Strong and sexy image.
