Description
I've never been 'cute'.
It's not that I'm 'wild' or 'gorgeous' or anything,
It just wasn't something that you usually heard.
'Tall' and 'loud' were the more common adjectives,
Sometimes I got 'funny'; 'klutzy' was frequent.
Some people have said 'pretty', but I don't believe it.

I apply the term 'average', personally.
It fits. I'm not extra-ordinarily 'smart'
Or anything like that.
I'm 'average' in mind and body.
I guess I'd fit into 'creative'
Since I'm 'musical' and 'artistic'.

But that's probably the end of my adjectives.
I can't run 'fast', and I don't walk 'slow'
So neither of those apply
Which brings us back to 'average'.
And I'm pretty 'average' in general.

I have brown hair and eyes to match,
Which can be one of the most boring combinations ever.
And I try to shake things up a bit with the aid of highlights
But I haven't touched those in months, and I'm just letting them be.
I'm 'average', and I know it.

But there's a sweet simplicity in 'average', you see.
If you rise from 'average', sometimes you can attain different things.
'Average' is a blank canvas of sorts,
From it, you can become anything.
'Exciting', 'edgy', 'sweet'-even 'beautiful' if you try.

And it can be fun
To try on the different traits
Changing the 'average'
To something more
'Unique'.
