I think the problem with the intro is how one family species (Eeveons) managed to win over the rest of all the other species that were all teamed up. Maybe there was a BIG number of Eeveons or maybe the history is being told from the Eeveons' point of view, who knows (but you).
I do admit that I have not played Undertale and at the time of this comment I did not have access to Tumblr to watch the rest of the story due to the wifi restriction (but for some reason not this website) so maybe I'm at fault there.
At the end though, it does seem interesting on how this is going. I think it's great!

There are in-story-Undertale reasons as to why one species would be able to overpower the others (in Undertale, humans were able to overpower monsters due to their unique souls and the power said souls held- which is the simplest explanation I can give for the concept. Eeveeons too discovered this unique property to their souls. That and yeah, the Eeveons were probably great in number AND this intro is being told from the POV of Eeveons) , so it's not a problem with the intro itself.Β
There's more to this concept, but that's something you should probably discover yourself upon playing the game (which I highly recommend) or watching a pacifist playthrough if you so choose. Β Thaaank you though!
