Yay, I finally finished this! XD Photoshop was acting weird, but my sister was able to fix it so I could finish this. It took 4 layers to make; one for the color background, one for the flame, one for the transparent Fireheart, and one for Firestar (his older self). I actually really like this. X3I learned the transparency thing when I was making my "The Apprentices Left Behind" deviation. I had an epiphany (I just love that word! XD)! Anyway, I love the little flame I did! 83 So pwitty! So, yeah! X3 Obviously this is Firepaw/heart from the first warriors series. Hope you like! 8D I made Firestar a little relistic while I drew Fireheart my style. X3
Some of Firestar's fur was referenced from some picture I found on the internet of a small Puma. O___o I WAS at first going to make Firestar a cat from my warriors story, but I changed my mind after a while.
Fireheart and the warriors series belongs to Erin Hunter while this picture belongs to me.

Y'know, we've all agreed on that you're so dang awesome that it makes all of our art (meaning me and my sister's art -.-') look like a three year olds drawing that we wanted to ban you, but then we would die of emptiness of your epicness if we did so we decided not to.

O-oh my....that's not a good attitude or way to see this at all...
When someone is "better than you", you shouldn't be discouraged and you shouldn't be so critical by calling your own art "three-year-olds drawings"! And to want to "ban" someone for being better is not good at all.
Skills take a LONG TIME to develop. There are artists who are further down along the "development timeline" that others, yes, but everyone is on it! Improvement is something that just happens as long as you keep a good attitude and keep doing what you love, which is drawing. If you put yourself down or complain about it, then it won't help whatsoever. It'll just hold you back.
There's no such thing as a "bad artist", as long as they actually put thought and effort into their art. Everyone is simply a "developing artist". It's just our decision, whether we want to take it far enough to improve or not.
When you see someone who is better than you, you shouldn't put yourself down, nor should you be upset with them! We artists need to appreciate art. And we also need to see their art as a fuel for our determination to get better!
Is the artist better with cat anatomy? Don't complain about your own art, feel discouraged, or be upset with them! Do something about it. Go out there and study cat anatomy. Look at their art to try to figure out what they're doing that you're not. But in the end, it all depends on you to do your best.
Skill doesn't come in a matter of hours, days, weeks, and even months. It takes time. Here are some examples.

I used to suck at humans. I mean, I SILL need to improve! But Iβve gotten a lot better since I first joined DA, and it took 3-4 years to get to where I am now.
If you don't have the patience whatsoever, then maybe art is just not for youβ¦. But if you're seriously determined to become a better artist, then work hard, appreciate the art of others and see it as a fuel to make you improve, and don't put yourself down. In the end, it can do wonders.

Thirdly, my art may not be so good, especially not in my eyes, but I don't draw because I want to be better, I draw because I love to. I draw for fun and see where it leads ^w^

Yup! I actually do my coloring on the same layer as my lineart. ^^ I drew Firestar first, colored it, then Fireheart, I colored it also, then afterwards I made the color background, and finally the flame. ^^

Well, . ^^ I made every deviation using the same method of coloring on the same layer as the lineart. Soo yeah. I use the method because I don't really know how to color lineart using different layers and stuffers. >____>

Thanks! ^^ I havn't actually watched the shows, but my friend said she loves The Misadventures of Flapjack! X3 She says its stupid (in a good way!) and funny, and it reminds her of some of her friends, which mush include me. XD
