This is a more conceptual piece. If I were to fully explain the artwork in this column it'll probably make the comment box explode!! XD; So I'm going to let you interpret it as you wish~Some things to clear up, the puppeteer controlling the puppets/manequinns in the picture is Dr.Kyou, my original character.
The question is... Is Kyou really the puppeteer? Or is he really the puppet??

This is such a good concept.
I did something similar for an art project of mine. Only it involved a military man and the head of state. The military man was crying as well :/

It really shows how everything controls our own lives. Yet, in a way, you still have the ability to control something else. Like, say, you were the one controlling Kyou. And let us say you are the principal of a school. You tell Kyou what to do, because he is the teacher. Kyou then basically 'controlls' the children, the students. It really is only chain of who controls who does what.

Just awesome. It's cool that the puppets look somewhat like those wooden models artists use as reference.
I love the composition of the whole piece! You get this dark and yet inviting feeling like you're in a theatre watching something haunting.... and amusing

It's like Dr. Kyou is being forced to control the daily lives of the puppets. Like how the government controls our daily lives. The question is: who's controlling the ropes attached to Dr. Kyou's wrists? Who controls him?

Anyway I like what you're going here with making people think on whether he's controlling them or vice versa. But the overall colors and layout remind me greatly of a combination of the carnival and taro cards. Very intriguing indeed.

Yah I was mainly going for the carnival/old poster/card look!! XD I tried to avoid using cold colors and mainly stick to desaturated warm colors!

Aww, this is beautiful. I love the coloring (that rouge around the eyes, and hell, the slant of the eyes themselves, mm mm mm), as well as the whole concept, is just a very pleasing experience for me as a viewer. : )

You have no idea how difficult it is to get both eyes to slant in the correct angle!! XD; But usually I like to redden the areas around the eyes a little~~ give the eyes a little more depth? O:

I love how your character is controlling the puppets lives. It reminds me of today's society. We seem to be controlled by our jobs, school, etcetera that we have so little time to ourselves. It's a great piece.
