Its bright, but not to bright. The sunglasses part was a little joke. Its fine the way it is.

I see, and I'm not surprised. It takes a while to get the hang of it, and even then it's quite crazy. Just think about the mere fact that you're using numbers that don't really exist.

Yep, they call them imaginary numbers. Meaning that complex numbers always consist of two parts, one real part and one imaginary number.
Think of it as a formula like Z = y + i.

I just you might need a little cheering up after what I read in your recent journal and all.
Um, yes, I've been kinda crazy about fractals at that time. I try to get to write new colouring schemes but I'm not getting far, cause it's been a long time when I did this.

Aww! Glad it did help.
Actually it began all with the thought that we needed a background for a program we wrote for study -- and found some code on how to create a good ol' Mandelbrot fractal.
From there on I was fascinated by fractals.
