it's not really makeup, it's a kind of mark that all the men of his tribe\ancestors use from where it comes from, the girls don't use on the eyes, it's on their face close the chin, his girlfriend it's like that. But there are more things typical from them, they all have blond hair and green eyes ( Shiro has brown hair in one side, but it's unique because he has a birthmark in that place so it gives result to is change of color on his hair but only were it is the birthmark, he cuts it so that it doens't make to much of a buzz )
